Moving into Alpha 3 - Steam Store Update

sorry if already asked but will moving to steam require a fresh install and are my save files stored locally or in your cloud
if locally what files would i need to move to my steam install if thats possible in the first place

I believe that the saved games will remain where they are stored now on your computer, however I may be wrong, so don't quote me. [big grin]

Have they released any info on getting our steam keys or whatever it is called.
it's the 21st and i read the faq and the most recent new bulletins and havent come across anything.

Frontier will start distributing Steam keys for Planet Coaster Alpha 3 as soon as they are ready to do so. Stay tuned. The exact way of distribution is not known yet (at least to me at this time), but it could be by e-mail (to the e-mail that you used for the Frontier Store) or by collecting a key by yourself through your Frontier Store account page.

About the VIP Tickets,

Everyone is able to create their own park guests (in-game) called 'avatars', with or without VIP tickets.
But there is a difference. Normally avatars you make are likely to visit the parks you make. But VIP avatars will not only visit the parks you make, they can also show up in parks from other PlanetCoaster players!
It won't be able to create your own staff without a VIP Staff Pass. (staff can show up in other player parks too!)

The VIP tickets are only available until 25th of august, it's a small but unique extra to the game. VIP tickets are available here!

The ability for creating your own avatar will release in the next alpha update, alpha 3.

23th of august you can play alpha 3?
25th of august you can buy thrillseeker edition for the beta on steam?

when will thrillseeker edition beta start?

No official date there, but if i should guess end of october. They mentioned planning a short Beta phase.

Otherwise the increased advertisement of the early bird would not make sense.

damn i really want to play as soon as possible but i hoped i could get the thrillseeker edition because its more in my range... damnnn these next 3 days are gonna be difficult

I thought that the time wasn't released, but probably around 11am as you said. When Alpha 3 releases it will probably have some bugs and maybe you can't open it. This will be fixed the same day hopefully. I'm tomorrow in the Efteling, so I'm gonna play it a day later. [cry]

true, but it was on their own launcher.
due to the fact that about 95% of all games on steam are released at around 6pm CEST I tend to say PC will be as well.
