Ships Need help to build my anaconda

I actually need help to build my anaconda, it is currently multipurpose with storage and a planetary landing pad in case but I like to use it on bounty hunt and sometimes on CZ. I play it on full shield but if you have any idea of how I can upgrade my defense it would be cool. I also think I could upgrade my fire power by using other weapon instead of shock canon, I was planing to put plasma accelerator but since they are only fixed I dont know if I will be able to aim. I‘m also scared that it could make me over heat. What could be nice is a weapon that can destroy the hull fast. If you have any idea of how I could upgrade my anaconda for combat it would be really appreciate.

In PvE bounty hunting combat you will get more practical shield protection by using Bi-Weave shields and building for resistance and regeneration over raw strength.

It's generally pretty easy in PvE to control when you're being shot at by clearing all currently active targets and setting yourself up for a favourable attack on any new target, so you will have plenty of time to regenerate shields between individual combats, and for every second of that time you are gaining 4 more points of shield back with a Bi-Weave shield as you would with a Prismatic.

Consider the following adaptation of your build:


It gives you more actual resistance against thermal weapons, which the AI likes and is most accurate with, and over the course of any average bounty hunting mission you will have gained enough extra regeneration to have absorbed more kinetic damage than Prismatics would have allowed as well despite having, on paper, half as much shield against them.

Weapons are up to you, I've put in what I would start with to use PAs on an Anaconda (the aim being the top to L and M slots should have okay convergence so they all hit against most targets), but I've not tested how they would actually work in practice in those slots.

You won't overheat with that build either, unless you fired your weapons or boosted at the peak heat of the SCB. SCB alone almost certainly wouldn't overheat you, especially not in an Anaconda which has good heat profile.

(Long term I'd probably sacrifice some more of the guardian shield boosters for 7A Dirty/Drag Thrusters, the more you point your guns at the enemy the quicker they die and the less damage you take, thrusters help with that).

Wow thanks for your replie, this build look cool even if I will need to farm a lot for engineering but wouldn't it be nice to replace the burst laser by beam laser ? I saw that they have a bigger DPS.

Beam laser DPS is a tricky thing. They do have higher DPS whilst they are firing but they drain your distributor much faster and so are more likely to leave you unable to fire when you want to.

When I'm building for PAs I generally want all my non-PA weapons to be able to fire continually and still have the weapons distributor recharging. Using burst lasers makes it more likely that you've got enough distributor juice when an opportunity to fire your plasmas comes up because you're both lined up and they're ready to shoot, because you'll be charging the WEP distributor faster between plasma shots.
 
Ok that smart, I see you also put corrosive shell on the 4A multi canon I saw on the fandom that it weaken the armour of the target but does it last forever or I have to shoot continually to use the effect ? and why you put it on the class 4 weapon if it is just for the effect wouldn’t it be more effective to put it on the class 1 and put a big weapon on class 4 ?
 
You have two choices, Tank it, weapons, armour and ammunition to the max and a fighter, or rely on the Anaconda's agility and acceleration. As I said, you have one choice!!😊 Or get a Corvette.
