Yeah, exactly this one. Even worse - the only time I've stumbled upon one it was on the dark side of the planet. Due to this I haven't spend too much time there, but that probably the only settlement where I haven't see any civilian (non-military) specialists
Wow, brilliant! It seems that my "ToVisit" list has grown up quite a bit today=)Handily it's the only Mil settlement with only S pads, so this query should return themhttps://inara.cz/nearest-stations/?ps1=Didio&pi13=&pi14=0&pi15=10&pi16=60&pi1=0&pi18=1&pi19=0&pi17=0&ps2=&pi8=&pi9=0&pi3=&pi4=0&pi5=0&pi6=0&pi7=0&pi23=0
edit: Scrub that - inara lists 'min pad, not max ....
edit2: Ok, these are legit

With regards to what exactly?Look up edcd and this should be in the API section
There is only one settlement alarm console per settlement.I have always wanted to ask a very similar question. However, I have the impression that there are (can be?) several alarm consoles in a settlement. If this is true, my next question would be, what is the range of the alarm consoles? Let's say my mission is to assassinate a person, do I have to turn off the alarm console in the room where that person is or all the existing alarm consoles in the settlement?
Very helpful, thanks. You're missing a Tourist one - (there are 5 of some and 4 of the others). These are the Tourist ones (sorry, not very good). The bottom 2 have the same pads so look the same in journals.

Yesterday I met my Waterloo... My own first evidence of 'identical' layouts where a dataport was in a different locationMain thing I wanna know for any settlement is where the settlement alarm console is I can figure anything out after that!
Thing is once you have the settlement alarms turned off you can then kill whoever you like without further response or breaking mission conditions for a covert mission. Once you kill a level 3 you have full terminal access and can find things like data ports. Granted you can always use an ebreech on terminals but then you are risking discovery if scanned.Yesterday I met my Waterloo... So I've decided for this first version to drop the dataports from the map. I'd rather focus on the things that I know (for now anyway) don't move.
And look to add other features back in later, as there may be further evidence to help me.
(Frontier @zac - please can you not help with some data that will push this project forward?)
Nope, there's at least one layout for a large Industrial settlement where both the security and the command room of the CMD-building have a settlement alarms console (and an authorisation scanner console as well). There is only one settlement alarm console per settlement.
A small update - if the cage location persists on mission/no mission situation (for the same settlement) then... it's location is also generated and can be different for the same layouts. Just stumbled - literally - on one of them while (re-)recording coordinates for external objects in one of the settlement layouts (an this involves walking along straight lines). Encountered as an obstacle - it was not there in the same layout in another settlement.Might also be worth documenting the location of the 'cage' thing used for Protect missions. I believe this is fixed per layout.
Thanks for the report. I don't yet plan to add the cage to the map, but this is useful to know if I do at some point.A small update - if the cage location persists on mission/no mission situation (for the same settlement) then... it's location is also generated and can be different for the same layouts. Thanks.Noice, ty. I was looking for those kind of ressources lately.
Just tried https://quizengine.co.uk/odyssey_helper/ody_settlements_preview_01.005.html and it launched ok for me. It may be that if you tried to access an earlier version this version may have overwritten some files. Is it just me or is the website down for others as well at the moment?

Experimented today with a Military settlement with two alarms consoles, both in CMD, one in SEC and one in OPR. If I turned off one, and visited the other, the other was disabled without me touching it. I aggroed the settlement to make sure no alarms went off. You only need to turn off one panel and that's disabled all alarms. The settlement is Solati - Meng LandingI have always wanted to ask a very similar question.
