I'm rubbish at guessing. Really rubbish. That said it would tie in with the announcement at 7pm and Ed was wearing last year's Expo t-shirt in the clip earlier today...Is it a sign? lol

FWIW last years expo was announced on 26th July and took place on the 7th October.

Because in concept art such devices are used to provide holographic interface while you are on feet.

Yeah, I did not expect them to explain this mystery during this livestream.

If this isn't a tease that Space Legs are inbound then I don't know what is.

Can't help thinking they're planning to announce something big relatively soon and it's either going to be Atmospherics or Legs.

Last time I can remember GalNet setting off similar excited speculation was the articles about a company called MetaDrive. People thought "oooh, FE2 style military drives?!" "Hey maybe we're finally going to get in-system microjumps!" Etc

If I recall correctly what we got, was nothing.
