This is a First look and Introduction video for Industries of Titan a futuristic city building simulation strategy game in space, on Saturn's moon Titan, which comes out to Early Access on 14th April 2020. Today! I show of it’s starting gameplay, talk about the basic game mechanics and show off some of the game features. Here I preview the game for all new players who might like it and I must say I have had a blast playing it.

This is a preview of an upcoming non-violent Indie city building game called Before we Leave.

The release date is 8th of May and it's developed by Balancing Monkey Games. Rediscover and rebuild civilization. Create a multi-planet resource network. Overcome ancient challenges and fend off hungry space whales. There are no weapons, no battles with neighbours for control of resources. You can, however, perish at the flippers of vast planet-gobbling space whales that graze on your worlds and threaten your civilization.

This video shows the content available to play in the prologue of a new Indie city building game which will have a full release in 2020. called Make Your Kingdom. Make your Kingdom is a low polygon town building game where you get to build, expand and improve your settlement. Your goal is to build the best and largest settlement you can while tracking your citizens’ needs. Every one of them has a unique character in this game, and therefore depending on the mood and happiness level they can help develop or destroy the city. You have to find a way to win the people's favor by satisfying their needs.

In this video I show and tell you what's new in the latest addition to the Caribbean trading and pirate simulation franchise, Port Royal 4. In the fourth installment a lot has changed. The art, graphics, the interface, hex based map and a lot more.

This is an early look, preview of Cepheus Protocol, a new Indie game coming out on the 15th of May. It is a top-down open world, singleplayer, permanent death, RTS inspired by XCOM, Company of Heroes, and Parasite Eve. Find patient zero before an alien virus takes over San Francisco. Command your squad, save civilians, and stop the Pangu virus. Kill patient zero and save the world.

A mysterious virus of alien origin is sweeping through San Francisco. It is up to the Center for Epidemic Research and Control (CERC) to track down and find Patient Zero before it is forced to enact the Cepheus Protocol. Command your squad, save civilians, and stop the Pangu Virus before it is too late.

Main Objectives:
Train and level a single squad of up to 8 members as you search the city for Patient Zero.
Build, train defenders, and safeguard your base from the Pangu Virus’ victims.
Manage your squad as you attempt to control the spread of the virus.

The timing would seem to be risky, I'm not sure a game which appears to revolve around gunning down those who are unfortunate enough to catch a virus is really going to appeal.

This video is going to show you gameplay, aliens, robots and space vermin in the upcoming economic simulation, and empire building strategy, Spacebase StartopiaI. The game is currently set for release on the 23rd of October, for PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch, by publisher Kalypso Media. This BETA gameplay is from June 2020.

Spacebase Startopia, is best described, as a game about managing a wacky, donut-shaped space hotel and trade station, for some of the most interesting looking, and demanding aliens, this side of the Milky way; in addition, your job is also management and production of trade goods, which should supplement your income.

DU indeed looks and sounds amazing, but I'm starting to seriously doubt it will ever be released. :(

Yeah, it seems to have hit a wall much like Empyrion Galactic Survival which started out as the "much better version of No Man's Sky", but then development slowed to a crawl and lately to a standstill.

And does anyone still remember Rogue System? Dead in the water, same as Hellium...

Osiris: New Dawn, in alpha for ages....

Nowdays I'm much more weary of spending money on early access games, as there's no actual guarantee that they will ever be finished. I put them on the list when they seem interesting, but no longer spend any Bucks without first seeing Buck Rogers.

I wish Early Access model would simply be made illegal. So many games got caught in a loop of early access development that uses the monetization to introduce more monetization intead of moving the game towards completeness.
So went even further. For example Ark - after years in early access, devs started to use the money to develop A SEQUEL instead of finishing the first game. That is a definition of scum. And we all know how SC is looking...
I wish games were once again released when they are DONE.

Ah, the Ark -> Atlas debacle... another fine example of how paying for stuff in advance usually ends badly for the customer.

I get where you're coming from, the only reason why I'm still a bit on the fence is because there are nice (and finished) games from smaller dev teams that would simply never exist without the early access model. But yes indeed it also opened the door to a lot of scummery (is this an english word?)... And I also do miss the time games were released when they were done, before the age of "release now, fix it someday". But those times will never return.

The irony in all this is that there were never so many games being developed as now, but the number of great, truly outstanding games released per year seems the same or actually smaller than before. Most of the games I love and play the most are still from the first half of the decade, and the fingers on one hand are more than enough to count the game I play (or played) regularly from 2016 onwards.

The best compromise we can have now, is to adopt a "buy only when done" stance, early access or not. If someone else wants to come forth with their money, then best of luck. At least until the dev team has amassed a reputation for being serious.
