I Daniel Blake, The Game.

In which you have to navigate through a surreal nightmare of procedurally generated welfare benefit application forms, and are rewarded with achievements based on baked bean tins.

The Simpsons ? :p

That is a good point. The only reason I didn't remove Iron Sky from my list is because I couldn't find any reason to. I was also going by the phrase "global renown".

Doesn't "enduring movie franchise with global renown" usually mean some obscure Hollywood failure they couldn't sell elsewhere and so license a game as a last throw of the dice before it sinks forever?

It's Sharknado, isn't it?

Frontier should enter the film making business. Make the films they want to watch. The script could be procedurally generated. Each film will be slightly better than the last one.

Enduring franchise?

Exactly ... The logic used here is just weird ... Its going to be a franchise, so it will be something that has been around for a while and has had several films.

I don't know why people are even discussing this. Its going to be Jurassic Park, it makes perfect sense as it fits with Frontier's MO, and it will allow them to create technology needed for Elite (procedural dinosaurs, tree's etc.)

Its nice to dream about it being other things but it just wont be. Other major franchises have their rights already sown up, and there hasn't been a JP game for years.

Just one problem with this, there has already been a Jurrasic Park game. If Frontier have secured the rights to a game version of a film franchise, it won't have had a game made already.

EDIT: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jurassic_Park:_The_Game

Obviously I could be wrong. I still say it's Ready Player One.

EDIT 2: Of course, I am applying arbitrary rules to narrow down the selection. You could equally apply a rule that says it must be a game that has already been made. Ultimately only Frontier know what film franchise it is, and they aren't saying yet.
