Sarcasm ON, yeah PURE GARBAGE from altitude, like this:
It look bad ? Are you sure it's sarcasm ?I can even see the copy pasted pattern. While seeing them is indeed some brain work, howevr the brain will instantly notice "something's off and repetitive". Which led me to look for them.Sarcasm ON, yeah PURE GARBAGE from altitude, like this: View attachment 234938
Well I do not see those "copy paste" patterns. Especially I do not see those while controlling the ship and deciding where to land. But yeah of course if we put it all beige and just some random noise craters that would be better? It look bad ? Are you sure it's sarcasm ?I can even see the copy pasted pattern. Ask me in a year or even more, at the end of FD's EDO "roadmap".Yep. But we did not expect it to get worse did we?
Hey man, love the game too. But im not playing it for a while.Ask me in a year or even more, at the end of FD's EDO "roadmap".
EDH in current state has a few years of fixes advantage![]()
Random noise craters would indeed be better than pre-generated noise copy pasted everywhere.Well I do not see those "copy paste" patterns. For the record, this is a false color image. This is true color: https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/resources/933/true-colors-of-pluto/I'll save you the time. NO.

Was about to say that picture looked like false colour. For the record, this is a false color image. This is true color: https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/resources/933/true-colors-of-pluto/
THANK YOU. Been telling that for pages already.I agree that planets that look interesting even on 50km height are exceptions.
But they exits, so it's not a problem with LIMITATIONS of current tech,
more likely it's fed with wrong numbers/dataset.

I can't tell where the "sarcasm" is. Is this supposed to be indicative of a "good" planet or a "bad" one? I see those weirdly shadowed pockmarks on the right side of your pic all over the place. When you get to around 1.5km they look terrible. ...worse in motion.Sarcasm ON, yeah PURE GARBAGE from altitude, like this: View attachment 234938
I don't know.I'd love to have overhangs and caves in ED. Height maps are boring, especially height maps generated from prefab textures.
Water would be nice, too. ED is still far away from what NMS can do in terms of terrain generation.
This must be EDO version, so unreal. For the record, this is a false color image. This is true color: https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/resources/933/true-colors-of-pluto/
Well perhaps because eh some people do NOT concur that old Horizons planets were better looking, or with superior tech. Me being one of them.I can't tell where the "sarcasm" is. Also, what are we doing here folks? Many people are having an issue with the new planetary tech. Why are you actively trying to keep it from getting fixed for those who do? Humble bragging? Just want to see the world burn?
If it was Edo, it would look like this :This must be EDO version, so unreal.
OP pasted a Horizons screenshot, beautiful, life-like![]()
Me tooWell perhaps because eh some people do NOT concur that old Horizons planets were better looking, or with superior tech. Me being one of them.
I made a post showing the pattern repetition on the screenshot provided.Well perhaps because eh some people do NOT concur that old Horizons planets were better looking, or with superior tech. Me being one of them.
I have some suspicion, that old Horizons had repeating patterns too. But because "tiles" were bigger and with less details, people did see them as easily.I made a post showing the pattern repetition on the screenshot provided.
The fact you don't see the issues doesn't mean nobody else do.
