New red-orange dot approaching the bubble at 0.8ly per minute-- Thargoid mothership?

I was in some guy's twitch late last night and he ran me off for being negative...which I found hilarious. Anyhow...this "event" really has raised a few questions for me. I had previously assumed that "free space" didn't exist in the game's code. That the skybox was a frozen shot in time, a jpg wrapped around your instance so to speak, and that nothing else existed in real time for the player. This event seems to contradict that....it would appear that you can "see" this object move across the static skybox....which seems to mean that it exists in a unique space in the whole of the game, in that it can move through the space between systems. Which gives me hope that rogue planets, which I previously thought that the game could not handle, are out there...and as such, Raxxla.
They did say Codebase 4.0 introduced new functionality that allowed them to do things they couldnt do before

They're used with compromised press reveals...

Remember the Fleet Carriers Reveal Stream being ruined by someone glitching an external camera inside a carrier? 😂 😂
They really only have to blame themselves for that. It's bound to happen when you have in development things in your live code. That's how the Scorpion was leaked months before release, that's how the Panther and Mamba light models were leaked, all subject to change until release of course.

Could be one of the updated features in Codebase 4.0, they did say it allowed them to do a lot more with the narrative to be more involving for the players.

Indeed they did...and this is a pretty stark, in your face, "thing" that they could not do before. So I wonder if this is the "thing that's never been done before" to which they were referring.

Alright, since there's a thread for this now, I'll leave this here
This is 2 hours of movement, with each frame taken every 15 minutes

What does/did that link say?
It's a link to a message on the Thargoid alert page of the Cannon Alert Discord thing where bots post codex discoveries, hyperdictions and other events collected by Cannon plugins for the EDMC and EDDiscovery tools.

In this case, the bot highlighted the message because it was a hyperdiction where no hyperdictions happened before.
Useful stuff to keep connected with discoveries without actually playing ;)

Edit: The text itself is rather bland: "@here Commander Mass1nhibited was hyperdicted at Oochorrs YL-H c12-0 while jumping 45.25ly to Oochorrs UF-J c11-0. The hyperdiction was 588ly from Cone Sector, the destination was 626.0 from Cone Sector."
