I love finding ships in No Man's Sky, and love stealing them in Starfield, but the experiences are a bit too repetitive, oversimplified, and overabundant. I imagine that if Elite had a similar mechanic, it would share these problems and add the problem of an unnecessarily protracted grind loop that has to eventually be nerfed out of the game by giving an essential material a ludicrous drop rate.
I bought several Raider Kits years back, when prices were almost sensible... My personal opinion is that they are the 'best' value packs to buy. I have Cobra 3, Krait II, Vulture, Corvette & Cutter... All look good, the Cobra 3 is likely the most imaginitive.
