Heck even the Krait Raider kit went unnoticed when it was released last Friday, at least I haven't seen anyone posting it on DD or the Xbox forum.
Emmmm....it got at least three theads that day on DD.

I found one and stand corrected.
Just for the record, I was worried no one mentioning the Krait Raider kit, seeing people losing interest in ED is the last thing I want.
It's just my opinion that Fdev needs to step up before it does happen, which it already does btw for quite the few.
Haven't tried that yet, do you have any story lines in creative?
I think we really should not worry about this. FD have all numbers and trends and their CM team seems to be quite adept in gathering feedback. FD sees real engagement numbers. Let's be frank - forums attract very few gamers. Gaming is much bigger thing in real life than we think it is. Lot of people really do not dream about what ED might be, they simply think do they enjoy ED or not. And FD evaluates feedback from that POV.
Also ED networking is very good for this kind of change in player base. When player count decreases, it costs less for FD to run it. When update or new DLC will come, numbers will be again up. This is why they decided not to do subscription.
Yes got a little mission to start off with, found a crashed ship and have to search for clues about the pilot.

I'll definitely try creative mode then, but right now I'm realy enjoying normal mode.
You're welcome to your preference. I got my own.
You don't have to understand it, you just have to accept it.
And you base this on absolutely nothing.

When was the last time this happened? This from someone who has been consistently bitter with multiple chips on their shoulder...care to provide an example? If it happens every single time like ye imply, shouldn’t take too long to find a classic example ^
Personaly the visuals of space and the ships etc. make ED a very believable game to me, I love that about ED.
NMS doesn't try to be realistic imho but fun and interesting, open for your imagination.
I like both games a lot, it's just that doing the same thing over and over again becomes boring, especially because there aren't that many activities you can choose from in ED.
Another thing is the grind factor, imho the effort vs reward balance is much better in NMS.
To me that's pretty much the thing that ED could learn from NMS. The resources you find in NMS always feel relevant to your progression. Finding outposts/facilities/drop pods on planet is fun because the things you find inside are always useful, which in turn makes you want to explore every corner of the universe for more stuff as if you were in an infinite treasure hunt, even though you're visiting very similar assets over and over again. Meanwhile in elite, most of the time you have a hard time figuring out if there's even a use for the things you find, which makes exploring planets less engaging and borderline useless.
Still waiting on that example i see,i doubt you will get one.
Swoop in,make snarky comments for rep, then flies off on the same high horse they came in on seems to be the MO.
Some have more cause to be bitter than others while some have no cause at all and just enjoy it.
This and the general gaming thread being the only two threads I so much as look at nowadays...I’m not actually complaining just find the thread interesting cos deep down, I really do wanna see elite on form again...I’m just bored waiting fer it to happen ^

Only his forum rank is Elite already, so he doesn't need any more rep.
So, your point was what again ?
