Not to sound ungrateful, but no love for LEP?

Yes! Make the latecomers pay! lepers demand the serfs pay while we do not!

honestly i do not follow..... i want premium content because i want premium content to play with, NOT because i want you to pay :/ and also, I DID pay dont mistake LEP folk not having to pay for future content for them getting anything for free

that is like me paying for my car tax up front for £200 for the year and someone who pays £20 monthly complaining at me for not having to pay each month for my car tax......... I dont have to pay because I ALREADY paid for it!.

note i am NOT complaining btw!..... just discussing, there is a difference ;)

£20 store credit is my guess. I doubt we will get anything unique like a special decal. Credit will do me.

I'm done with guessing, but the scope seems to be somewhere between one skin (could be exclusive, hope it's available to buy to non-LEPers) to unlimited access to all cosmetics.

Unlimited access would create some potential issues with stuff already purchased, and one skin would probably not go down well either, but solving one problem only to create another is also not something we can 100% rule out. Whatever happens someone will be disappointed.

My own suggestion was a Moon permit. I think it's the easiest & quickest optional non-pay to win DLC to implement, charge a tenner for it in the store & of course the LEPers have already paid in advance so it would be added to those accounts automatically.

i am wondering about those voice acted mission files which were found a few weeks back. they could be a really nice addition to the game to give players something to go at for a few months if there is some kind of narrative based collection of linked missions added to the game.

available in the frontier store for everyone of course.

It all comes down to the companys failure to deliver at least 1 big expansion every year in order to keep everyone happy. And yes i said at least.. it is confirmed now that they have 100 developers on this title and it took them 2 full years to straighten out the Horizons dlc. Two years for Christ sake for 100 people. They probably thought they could do it in a year, hence the so expensive LEP package before horizons.
As if it wasnt enough, they also cancelled the "premium content" months after it was officially mentioned and they also cancelled for now the carriers and the ice world changes. I mean.. what the hell is happening on those 100 desks? Why so slow, seriously? 100 developers and it took them 3 times to get the guardian fsd booster to work properly!

If they dont come out with a HUGE announcement before the end of January that a huge dlc will be live in June at the latest, about AT LEAST atmo landings including earth likes with cities AND dynosaurs invading the cities, space legs and space toilets for dynos, i seriously dont wanna hear about the number 100 anymore.

As said above, Beyond certainly looks like a lot of people have been working on it.

Credit would probably be the least troublesome but I like the moon idea. They could have a spaceport on it called Leper’s colony :D

Take no notice Mike, he keeps trying to stir up trouble;)

A store mug,”I’m FD’s special little princess “
A salt cellar bobble head.
A signed photo of DB,with as many kisses as required.
A cuddly toy(not a space loach!)
And a T-shirt,”I paid for the LEP and all I got was this lousy T-shirt!”

I used to work on the railway many years back..

It always puzzled me that if there were no train available for a service they wouldn't announce that the service was cancelled till it was due to depart, even if they knew hours beforehand..

Frontier's communication reminds me of that.

I’d be very happy with that!

I think it was said that the number was about developers but still.. how many people needed for support and community management?
/r/EliteDangerous: "Community Guest FDev Visit & 3.3 Impressions"

PixelBandits: "Regarding staffing, It really can't be stressed enough. I am lucky enough to be an ambassador for both JWE and ED and see a lot of people saying that one development is taking away from the other but this couldn't be further form the mark. the elite team is sizable, and still growing through an already expansive office (where they are very good at hiding their screens!)"

Me: "Morale is great internally, they're hyped for the community's response when 3.3 is demoed and goes live. The Elite Dangerous devroom has 100 people (+- 5) for gameplay/content creation; this excludes QA, audio recording, trailer team, website, etc who were in a different area."

Vingtetun: "For the record, yes, the numbers of people working JUST on ED are what they say, their other games were on other floors and no, jobs like HR and finance etc staff weren't part of that number,.It was all people actively working on Elite. Compared to my last visit, they arent kidding when they say the team has never been bigger."

ObsidianAnt & DJTruthSayer: "'Half a floor of the new building for ED, told they were 'dedicated to ED', and not including QA testers, HR etc"

You have to literally fight on the forums just to get an update.

Frontier never ever come forward and provide an update "because it's the right thing to do".

All communications proudly state how "it's all free", with absolutely no nod or thought to people who paid upfront.

Assurances were made that it would be delivered 2018, after having to ask over and over for an update towards the end of 2018 it turns out they were never working on it.

Just out of morbid curiosity but when was the last update on LEP content?

No because the restaurant have already factored the cost to them of the espresso into the price they have charged you for the meal. Then they give it to you at the end of the meal without a separate charge on the bill so it looks like they're doing you a favour.

No because the company have already factored the cost of shipping at their lowest rate into the price they charged you for the item. Then they call it 'free shipping' to make it look like they're doing you a favour.

Not making any wider point here or getting into the interminable LEP fair/unfair debate (I don't have an LEP, I would have bought one if they'd been on sale when I got the game, I don't have a dog in this fight) but the above are the absolute basics of retail 'offers'.

I purchased a pendant for a girl I like a month or so ago.

It was £32.99 with free shipping.

Then it went out of stock for a few days.

I went back to the product page some days later still, and it was back in stock. For £29.99 + £2.99 shipping.

Exactly the same product. I accessed the page via bookmark, so the URL hadn't changed.

This is a true story, and it shows how marketing really works. I have nothing against it, but some people really need to open their eyes.
