Notable Phenomena Repository | Please add yours!

There are definitely bugs with scanning some things. I've found brain trees that won't scan into the codex too.

Well that's annoying. I ended up finding metallic crystals in the same system which also have the same anomalies nearby. The crystals scan but the anomalies do not :S

Submitted all of them regardless.

Here you are: 1 location, 2 Notables: Nyeajeau XFK B42-7
Has 1 proto Lagrange cloud, Albulus Gourd Mollusc, Prasinus Metallic & Rubeus Metallic.

Plenty of Geo points in the system also.

Worth dropping in if you are in the area :)

Submitted also.

There's something unbelievably ironic about the fact that even the Codex requires an out-of-game forum thread to do it's job properly!

That said, awesome initiative and I've now linked this essential forum thread to the "useful reference lists" section of "Best of Forum".

The Codex is good, but not all-inclusive, here we get a repository of discoveries of every variety which will only get bigger over time, it is just that 'little' thing we do without with the Codex.
A brilliant concept by the OP - and well done Alec for linking it, the more the merrier :)

Last night found a ringed gas giant with two different phenomena (Crystals and Albulus Gord Molluscs) embedded in its rings just 1ls from each other. Not sure if it is common to have two of these embedded in the same ring.

...aaaand Merry Christmas all :)

edit: forgot i had a screenshot

It would be nice to add a single-shot close-up graphic of each entity in an column, if possible. Would enable CMDRs offline to see results if they can't get to their game for a while.

Added another entry since there are 2 phenomena in the system and I misread your instructions first time. I also can't sort columns alphabetically, it clears the sheet and gives me reference errors

Another with 2 in the same system:
M17 SECTOR QX-T B19-3A (Inner Orion Spur)
Rubeus Metallic Crystals
Flavus Metallic Crystals

One cloud with crystals in - the others are in 'clear' space.

(Added both entries)

I plan on adding a pic of each type of thing on this thread, but having them embedded on the sheet itself would make it unnecessary heavy to load imo. If you mean apic of each POI, then it's down to the reporter to add an URL or two.

You can't sort it, you can only filter it.

Guys, not sure how you gonna manage all that data, TBH. I mean, either i am too lucky or these things are far too common to keep them in a list. This morning was in a system where 9 planets had biological features (many others had geological). Most of these 9 had 20+ sites each, of many different types. Visited 3-4 and gave up. They are just too many.

I don't keep a list of those :p

Are there yet any preliminary conclusions regarding star types vs phenomenon occurrence?

I wish there was a star class column in the repository.

A couple more for you - I'll add them to the repository too:

SWIOLZ EU-F B3-5 (Class M star with T Class Secondary)

Lagrange Cloud with: Prasinus, Flavus Metallic Crystals and Albulus Gourd Mollusc

THAILEIA QT-D C1-12 (I forgot to note Class)

Purpureous and Rubeus Metallic Crystals - no cloud here.

Another one - just 2 jumps out from Eagles Landing...

EAGLE SECTOR WE-Q B5-3: Croceus Lagrange Cloud containing - Solid Mineral Spheres, Flavous Metallic Crystals & Albulus Gourd Mollusc

Will put in repository next :)

Just a comment. I find it interesting that there are more forms, among the player base, to fill out than I have to do working for the US government.

Saying that, carry on.
