ANNOUNCEMENT Official Twitch Stream

I would love to stream, just not sure if it would be a smooth stream or not. And I have a tendency to rabble on a bit.

- if you come out of hyperspace, where do you end up? Let's say I hyperspace from gliese to earth, will I always end up in kuiper belt? Or can I control when and here to enter "normal" space?

- are there ships with a better yaw rate? Pitch&yaw should be more effective in space and allows more precision over longer distances. Pilots also do not blackout because the blood stays in the upper body/head.

- is there a chance to get 2k or even 4k textures inside the cockpit? Current high end graphic cards could easily take them.

Q) Will the single player combat scenarios you are streaming be available in the subsequent betas and final released game, perhaps as flight tutorials?

Q) Do the changes to the Oculus Rift DK2 require you to make changes to the latest build of Elite: Dangerous to fully support its features?

which is equivalent to the volume of a cube with 5.85 Ly on each sides.
though still interested on how many sytems will be included.

Q1: Will alpha 4 "volume of space" includes iota cruxis and zelada and how many stars will be there?

I was wondering about that... assuming Iota Cruxis is a typo for the real life star "Iota Crucis" (in the constellation "Crux") then that puts the volume of space 125 ly away from Sol, which is consistent with what was previously said about the Alpha 4 build being set a long way away from our sun. However, in the original Frontier star map the Zelada system was only about 30 ly away from the sun... perhaps it's in a new location in the new star map? Also, I wonder where the Founder's system will be?

Q: Are you going to implement some basic story with ingame events to the game, or is it like in EVE where players make up the story with their actions?

IS there a chance premium beta backers will get an update (multiple joystick support for example) before May 30th?

Q: What PC specs are being used for the broadcast?
Q: What controller is being used?
Q: What build will be displayed?

x) Will there be a way to help players keep track of the "buy" price of goods, so we don't have to memorize the price of purchase of our cargo when trying to figure out whether we're about to make a profit or not?

x) What's the maximum instance size going to be, and will there be places that allow for more or fewer players per instance?

x) How many AI pilots are allowed max in an instance, or in other words, how big are the battles going to be?

x) How's the netcode progressing, and will we see Alpha 4 the week after easter?

x) Have you decided on a hyperjump transition effect yet, and will it appear seamless to the player while loading the needed assets in the background?

Q) What effect on the game visuals and gameplay mechanics did the supercruise evolution from "0.2c" to "significant fraction of c" to "multiple c" have?

Q) Will supercruise travel provide an interesting visual and gameplay experience / one that's easily distinguishable from hyperspace or normal flight?

Q) When can we see it? ;)

Question: Are the explosions placeholder, or has the damage states changed from the kickstarter (ships floating mainly intact vs exploding into small pieces of dust)
