Pay2Win made it to Elite

O and dont foeget guys . Not only is it pay to win and being over-monatised . We arent even getting ship interior with the new revenew from the arks store . That money dosent go to the devs . It goes to the ceos and etc. So monatised engeneering and ships and no ship interiors ahahahaha

I'd have suggested that FDev sell access to ships for ARX, that just makes them available to buy at stations for that player. The player still has to buy and potentially rebuy it.
In fairness (and at risk of being called a hypocrite for my previous posts - though it isn't a perk I've ever agreed with), people like me who paid for Alpha access have always enjoyed a reduced rate of rebuy given the amount of real-world money we paid in the Kickstarter. If you want to purchase a ship with ARX and enjoy a similarly reduced rate of rebuy for that particular ship, then that seems like a good compromise IMHO.

In the first sentence, you answered your own question - 'the other player isn't losing anything' which, of course affects behaviour and gameplay.
Uh-huh, makes it a major disappointment for those who wish to ruin some n00b's day, I guess, or at least know that their 'opponent' lost something.

Must be so demoralising...

It doesn't bother me in the least if a ship is free to rebuy, isn't that odd?

Well what do you suggest? A broke player buys a premade ship for a substantial amount of real money, leaves the mail slot and blows up. He doesn't have the rebuy, so now the ship is gone, and so is the money. This screams not only trouble for the supporr staff, but potentially also legal trouble. The only solution to that issue is to have the premade ship have a value of 0 Cr.
There could be many possible solutions:
Actually there can be a lot of solutions to this problem other than 0 rebuy.

1. You pay the normal Cr rebuy cost based on their basic market value, but you cannot lose these particular modules, not even if you don't have enough credits.

2. You pay Cr rebuy for these modules normally as long as you have the credits. If you don't have the necessary funds, you don't lose these modules, they remain in outfitting/shipyard, but you cannot use them until you've redeemed them by paying off the Cr rebuy cost attached to them.

3. You've bought them for ARX? Cool, you'll pay ARX for the rebuy as well (5% of the original price). If you don't have enough ARX, no worries, you'll get a loan and you can pay off your debt from your weekly free ARX. :)

Its been covered many times, but here we go again, P2W doesn't mean just winning something in game or winning the game by paying. It covers a wide range of practices where people can open their wallets to gain some in-game benefit.
I've done that several times. Buying ED, buying another ED account to have a second CMDR, buying Horizons and buying Odyssey. All I "won" was the "benefit" of more game...

People wanna bemoan that credits mean nothing because they're so abundant that everyone has billions -- until you start talking about removing a rebuy price that would only ever be a hinderance to a new player because a rebuy is literally like .02% of an established player's assets.

Then suddenly it's a problem. Seems weird, huh?

Just curious ... why so? Can't get my head round why is so important that some other player will have zero rebuy for lets say average ship build at best.
Oh, i am neither defending nor condoning it, just pointing out that it may be contentious at best and detrimental at worst.
(the AX chieftain already suggested is imo not average; i've no idea how incendiary rounds works for lasers tho ;)
Also,

The complications that can arise is why i call it a 'major issue'. (zero rebuy gankers were already pointed out)

If people want to spend money on something i can get for free while playing, having fun, learning and honing skills, i say go for it.
"Time enjoyed wasted, is not time wasted."

In any case i will reserve judgement till the implementation is done.

I like having billions of credits. It's as if I've got this giant cushion made of in-game money that can catch my fall should I fall over while doing something expensive.

3 Month early access and pre-built ships for real life Moneys.

Store also seems to become more expensive since they used the word "Adjustment"

3 months early access for a new ship is fair, because after 3 months everyone will have access to it (Odyssey owners).

The only thing I think is unfair is that pre-built ships have 0 rebuy cost atm.

Store prices have to be adjusted due to inflation.

Seems we hit rock bottom.

Rock bottom is if they stop developing ED. The devs need more revenue from ED to keep development going so I don't mind.
