Why did his shields go down if he was using an exploit?
Looked like he didnt get shot much until the other ship shot him.
Baby, one thing at a time. We'll come back to this. I'm more interested in seeing the Bugatti Orca.
(Protip for future uploaders: For God's sake, man, just cut the relevant clip and upload THAT!)

So there was an Orca in leesti just now, I cant name him , he boosted away from my FDL at a rate of 1 kilometer per second. my FDL can catch anything not a clipper or cobra. Frontier I put a ticket in, please ban this guy, he was elite combat rank too, Hacks are so easy to obtain in this game, please address this in powerplay.
16. No Naming and Shaming.
We do not allow "naming and shaming" discussions, or types of content deemed naming and shaming on the Frontier discussion board. Naming and Shaming is the act of publicly naming someone and ridiculing or accusing them of something. This also includes putting names on a blacklist in your signature or thread.
I have a question: if that guy is using hacks, why did he run both times?
I'm not saying he's not cheating, genuine question. That speed looked unreal.
If you think reporting people via the mechanism FD wish them to be reported is a pointless exercise, how much point do you expect there to be in creating a forum thread on the topic?
If they are cheating, report them, block them, move on.
Seems plausible.
He wasn't really getting that far away from you when you actually traveled in the same direction as his ship.
If you kept following instead of typing it would have been easier to see.
I'm not sure if that is or isn't cheating but I do know that reporting people is a pointless exercise as they are not banned, even after multiple occasions of hacking/cheating. I myself have simply stopped reporting anyone now as there's no point.
Aww. You seem offended by words in print. You might want to look into that. Or don't. Whichever. I can't tell you what to do.
As to the video, I don't see conclusive evidence of a hack being used. Also, as another poster pointed out, the Orca pilot in question simply isn't acting like most exploiters do.
But that's not enough to rule it out either.
Report it and put it in the devs' hands. (Oh, and consider improving your technique.) -Sid
actually, carefull looking of the vid, one can see that right before typing, OP's ship is going 400M/s in a direction very close to the "suspect" ship, and yet said ship does manage to move,
00:24 op has same trajectory and does 400m/s range is 4.33km
00:28 op has dropped to 360m/s shortly before boosting again at 400m/s, trajectory still the same, tgt range is now 6.43km
that means that tgt was +- 500m/s faster than OP
all this is before OP start typing and is in full "chase" mode
tldr: this orca speed can be evaluated around 860 to 1k m/s

plausable? getting away from a FDL that fast is plausable? what drugs are you on? Its not my footage, i am in the wing, I use a rift and shadowplay in the rift is pretty poor quality.

i highly doubt that, with a base speed of 380m/s, an orca can come close to 800m/s regardless of fitting
I KNOW it was! That's the funny part! I said something to someone else, and it upset you to the point of responding to it.
I'm truly, madly, DEEPLY sorry for any concern I've caused you.
...is there someone I can call for you in this, your time of need? -Sid
Pretty much what I was thinking. OP was boosting at 400, yet Orca was pulling away as if OP was standing still, so Orca was doing at least double 400.
2 players viewed the same event so that would count as corroboration. If it's not a cheat, then it's definitely suspect.
