Stop horsing around and moooooove on in to Harmony Farm! I'll alpaca lunch for you and we'll gobble and pig out on the delicious organic food there! Harmony Farm is officially open to all and is next to the School Group Entrance. Don't be a chicken or be feeling sheepesh. Come bring your whole family to learn life on the farm and have your children meet the animals at our petting zoo. Just please don't have a cow...puns intended.

So...work has been commencing on redoing the parking lot. The asphalt has already been laid and are currently painting the lines and etc. for the parking lot. Some curbing has already gone up and plants have been laid out. Right now guests are to park at the additional parking lot outside of the zoo grounds.

Next couple weeks...The parking lot is in it's final stages and now we are getting ready to open up the parking lot for visitors and staff members!

Next day...Parking lot is finally open to the public and staff members!

That night before we were getting ready to close the zoo...

In the near future there will be a new picnic/park area where you can go fishing in our two new lakes. You can also be able to hike on the trails to Governor's Tomb and Hole in the Rock.

You wouldn't think building a parking lot would take 13 or more hours, but it did! The time I was finally finished with it my eyes were killing me. It was all worth it in the end though! It looks really great and realistic now!

Desert Marketplace has been going through some remodeling at the Phoenix Zoo! It now has glass windows where you can look in and out. We have also got beautiful new doors and new lighting inside, but we just didn't do the outside...we also remodled the inside as'well! Come look and see!

You kinda nailed the safari cruiser fix. The train looks very good! (Ofc an actual one is better but still I like the creativity).

There is now a plaza where the playground use to be where guests can rest, eat, and look out towards the lake. They can watch the Gibbons swing around and sing there songs on there little island.

New habitats are going up throughout the zoo! Howler Monkey habitat, Spider Monkey habitat, Eagle House and others are all almost done, just getting started to be built, or just awaiting the arrival of the animals.

The new Spider Monkey habitat is nearly finished. Work has now commenced on the inside of the habitat and we are also awaiting the arrival of the animals. We all look forward to all of you enjoying the new additions to the Phoenix Zoo!

Two new fountains have been installed in our lake near the front entrance.

We have also renovated our Guest Services Center and installed a new Turkey Vulture Habitat to greet guests at the front entrance. Guests will also be able to see the Turkey Vultures in the Guest Services Center.

What is now a temporary Chimpanzee habitat will soon be the home for the future Buff-Cheeked Gibbons! I hope you are as excited as we are!

We have been getting complaints that you're all having a hard time seeing the animals up close on the islands and we want to confirm that your voices have been heard! We now officially have another way to see our amazing animals on their tiny islands. We welcome you the Island Cruise boat!!! You will be able to set sail on our boats and get close to the islands like never before!
