Phoenix Zoo

With the new Island Cruise up and functioning with guests being able to get close to the island and its' residents like never before. We decided to brain storm and came up with a new idea to bring the animals closer from the islands to the guests that can't afford to use the new attraction. This is our end result!

OMG is that a freaking Cougar? No way, how do i get that, being wanting that animal for ever, is it unlock ability with callenge mode? I been playing mostly Sanbox, played a little career but it was a little boring.
I believe that those animals are mods, as most (if not all) aren't available in the game (hopefully in the future)

That is correct. All of those animals are mods from here -> [REDACTED: No links to mods.]

That is so cool! I always wanted to work at the Phoenix Zoo or any other zoo. Perhaps someday I will. I agree we need some more palms from southwestern US like the Californian Fan Palm.

Just an FYI that any photos containing mods will be deleted by one of us. It's not something officially supported by Frontier. That would include links as well.
Thanks so much!

The Arizona Trail is getting some more love with the addition of two new animals calling the Phoenix Zoo home!

We first start with the adorable Black Tailed Prairie Dogs right by the bug and amphibian house exit.

Next we come along to the beautiful, but feared Mountain Lions aka "Cougers" in there brand new habitat. There are two areas where you can get a up close look at our breathtaking Mountain Lions. They live right next door to the Pronghorns. In the future the Collared Peccarys, and the Bobcats will be living next door as well.

It's been a while since I last posted, which was in Oct. of last year. So...I feel like a new post is way overdue.

Anyways...

Something new is over by the Siamangs! We like to introduce to you the Siamang Birthday Party Ramada where you can host birthday parties with the Siamangs for your children or for the kid in you.

There has been a lot more construction going throughout the Phoenix Zoo!

To start off with you'll notice as you enter the zoo there are two brand new stands! Kettle Corn and you guessed it...Beer! That's right the Phoenix Zoo now sells alcohol at certain locations and events.

Our Starbucks stand got a much needed refurbish to match with the area. The newly refurbished stand will now be known as Jungle Java and will still sell Starbucks products.

The Dromedary Camel's habitat has been refurbished as well complete with a new shelter for them to escape to when needed and for check ups. Pics will come at a later date!

In other news...
Unfortunately, Predator Passage completion has been set back to Spring 2023 instead of Fall 2022.

Thanks to the Thunderbirds Charities, the Equine Facility and Arena has now been completed. It momentarily houses Przewalski's Horses that are currently extinct in the wild.

We have also currently acquirred some Scimitar Horned Oryx's where our Arabian Oryx's would be.
20220913123258_1.jpg

We have also gained some Axolotols in our Forest of Uco area for those fans out there! You are probably wondering why they're green? This is actually there actual color in the wild. They're only white and pink in captivity due to breeding them that way. We will be getting other variations as well later down the line.

It's been awhile since I last posted so I thought I will show whats been going on since the last dlc and update.

The Phoenix Zoo has been going through a beautification project where parts of my zoo that felt kinda bland is getting beautified by various rocks, plants, and flowers.

Siamang and Gibbon Island have gotten a lot of love recently.

Other areas like in the African Trail and along the lakes by the Lemurs have gotten this beautification aswell. If other areas will get the same treatment is unknown for now.
