I can kinda see where you're coming from, but to me it's not a big deal.To me the bush dog face needs a big redone. It doesn't really look like a bush dog, more like a bear mustelid hybrid.
Definitely doesn't bother me as much as the rhea

Oh yeah the rhea bothers me a lot more since i Will use it way more than the bush dog and it was one of my most wanted animals. The bush dog is just like a nice extra to have.I can kinda see where you're coming from, but to me it's not a big deal.

I think the white-faced saki distribution map is accurate - the sakis have been split quite a bit in recent years, and the white-faced is now basically restricted to the Guiana Shield region. Certainly the ones around Manaus are now considered to be the golden-faced saki.Alright, this is very nitpicky, but I think the map of the saki is off. They live in a greater area than shown on the map, definitely south up to Manaus, Brazil where I've seen some on the wild. The map on Wikipedia also shows a wider range. Not anything that needs to be fixed, but good to be aware it's not totally accurate.
I would agree except that some animals have interspecies enrichment despite not having overlapping ranges. Like the capybara can go with galapagos tortoisesI think the way it works (for interspecies enrichment) is that the two species must be compatible, found together in zoos IRL, and they must have overlapping ranges on the in-game map... That would explain why, for example, we didn't get interspecies enrichment between meerkat and porcupine with Arid. They're compatible, found together in zoos at times, but their ranges do not overlap.
I feel like this is the case for the two monkeys as well...

[The blue part shows the range of Cebus imitator, a close relative of C. capucinus]
[Just to be clear: my previous post may sound rude, but I typed that before I saw your post; I had no intention of sounding rude or mad, I was just a little confused about my own theory, which as you pointed out kinda falls apart with the whole capybara thing]I would agree except that some animals have interspecies enrichment despite not having overlapping ranges. No worries. You could slap me in the face and I wouldn't realize it[Just to be clear: my previous post may sound rude, but I typed that before I saw your post; I had no intention of sounding rude or mad, I was just a little confused about my own theory, which as you pointed out kinda falls apart with the whole capybara thing]
I still believe it was an oversight that could be fixed by tomorrow. Looking at DeLadySigner's video, the rhea had some bugs, like the sounds were apparently flamingo sounds, she said? And one of them froze.Hey so, you know what?
This still wouldn't explain why the saki doesn't have interspecies enrichment with the Capybara which, by the way, has IE with every South American habitat animal that isn't classed as a predator, even without overlapping ranges (example: the Galapagos Tortoise).
It gets weirder when you consider that the ranges of capybara and saki do actually overlap...
To this day i dont really understand people really care about these. I mean they kinda just dont do anything noteworthy really, so what are we really missing wiht not having these?I forgot to check since, ngl, I kinda forgot it existed (it's beautiful but it's so hard for me to get excited about yet another caprine I'm sorry), but the bighorn has a lot of variety in interspecies bonuses - bison, prairie dog, moose, pronghorn, and reindeer - so that's pretty neat.
Now if only they didn't forget the very obvious saki and rhea bonuses. It's wild how they keep missing with these, but idk maybe we'll get more when the pack actually launches (hopefully).
Why have zoo animals of they won't do animal behaviors? It adds life to the game. If all the animals did was run around, eat, sleep, and mate, then watching them would be boring. To this day i dont really understand people really care about these. I mean interspecies enrichment doesn't actually influence their behaviour at all (something I'd really love to see changed in PZ2, interspecies interactions would be awesome), I agree it's cool to have but it doesn't do much except give them a little enrichment bonus when welfare is turned onWhy have zoo animals of they won't do animal behaviors? That's why I love the bathing animals, the howling animals, the spitting animals, and the brachiating animals...
It's not something I'm pressed about personally; especially as someone who's primarily a sandbox player who turns off needs - but idk the fact that the feature is in the game at all makes me feel like it should be used to its full potential if that makes sense? I'm not saying it's a huge miss and overall, it doesn't matter that much to me, but that doesn't mean I don't think it should be pointed out. I just think the choices Frontier makes with it are kinda strange. To this day i dont really understand people really care about these.
