I never played Zoo but yeah that sounds like we got downgraded.
I agree with the kerbs and stuff, but also think we should keep in mind, that all those things like walkable gift shops, restaurants were added over the years into planet zoo aswell. And it was just OBVIOUS that we won't get EVERYTHING from the beginning. I just hope the wait for this to be included in an update isn't too long. And I am also sure, we won't just the the version from Planet Zoo, it will be an improved / upgraded version i guess 🙃

I get what you're saying, but we're missing a lot of features that were in PC1 and Zoo on day 1. This game was released extremely unfinished, and the player count reflects this. I'm not convinced they are going to commit the same kinds of resources to it as they did to PC1. They sacrificed a huge chunk of the player base to cash in early with a premature release. They aren't going to see the same interest in DLC as a result, and therefore will likely be less invested in maintaining, upgrading, and expanding the game.

This is my worry too. That we won’t ever see this game as what it should have been because they can’t attract and keep players.

The fact that you can get all DLC and the game for less than we paid a month ago makes me wonder if Frontier is in trouble. :-/
Frontier have been in trouble for a while. There were a lot of lay offs etc a few years ago and im pretty sure the team working on PC2 are not the same as the first. But i may be wrong on that. I do know that 9% of Frontier is now owned by Tencent. So let that say what it needs!
