I have played Elite Dangerous before about 6 months ago and enjoyed it. I have since then built a new computer. Since reinstalling the game I am not able to import a custom .binds file. It simply will not show up in the preset pulldown list as an available option.
I am using T.Flight Hotas X Crab setup v5.37 custom keybinds and have put them in the folder "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings" folder. They are NOT showing up as a preset.

What I have tried:
Running game as administrator
Making sure I have full permission to all folders/subfolders
Copied "T.Flight Hotas X Crab setup v5.37.binds" code into "Custom.binds" file
Deleted Custom.binds file
Used multiple different usb ports 3.0/2.0
Uninstalled/reinstalled game
Validate game files
I might be requesting a refund. Any help would be appreciated.
It is strange. Which name have your account in your OS?
For example, I have "c:\Users\Crab\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings"
Of course, connect your Joystick and test it in Windows.
