Why does it matter to you what other people may or may not call a game?
The whole 'simulation' thing is a strawman argument. His actual argument is for enforced 'online all'.

If u gonna say AI can beat an online player i want u to prove it with serious evidence.
No. My argument is if u dont online then stay offline and dont affect my market. 12 years old would get it.
Gave u a expiriment.
"Example incident. You (solo online) and Me (open online). Both in stock Sidewinders 8 kms from the very same outpost. Each of us carring 4 tonnes of gold (price per tonne in this outpost is the same for us as online supply/demand affect us on same level [WE ARE BOTH ONLINE]). Now im getting attacked by a fellow player with stock Sidewinder and You at the same time get attacked by an NPC AI stock sidewinder. Who has to overcome the bigger challenge to get same amount of credits (selling cargo on the outpost)? Open Play = hard mode and Solo Online is easy mode. Like difficulty levels in a single player game"

Then you're bad pilot. Stay in offline. Or learn and go online as it is a higher level of difficulty (like in single player). You try to discredit me but all u do is prove me right.I got defeated by an AI ship yesterday.
(Well, you didn't say a good online player)

I just stated 2 things. Solo isnt a simulation and Solo Online is easy mode comparing to Open Online. Still waiting for evidence that i am wrong.
I dont mind private groups. There are less endangered by attacks but they are online nevertheless. My only gripe is solo online. In my mind there shouldnt be that option. Its easy mode. Wanna play solo go play offline. Wana play online go private group (aka:co-op) or full open (aka:think before you act). Especially since all online modes affect online money flow.

And again simulations are not bound to Multiplayer.
PlaneX, Microsoft Flight Simulator 10, ect.

Im still wondering how many of Eddie Stobarts trucks were blown up and had their cargo nicked last year on the roads ? So that we can get a yardstick to how FD should go forward with the OP's wishes on creating a real world sim![]()
Was it one, few, many or lots ?
