I agree, I only use Classic UI and don't want a load of icons floating around the screen.
Rob
Yeh please leave the classic (if it an't broke don't change it) this has to be the best add on there is.

I'm not about to read through 3400+ posts so I have to ask, sorry. Will there be a version for OpenOffice? I feel like there'd be significantly larger user base if you used free software. If people don't use open office they use google docs, and if they need something specific or got excel through some package they'll have excel. I think it's really rare for people to actually go out and buy excel or office without a specific need, especially the average gamer. I'd use the crap out of this if it worked on open office...
Please dont remove the "Classic UI" - I love it and its more ELITE-retro-futuristic-style than Icon-based-UI. IMHO!
I'm with NickSick, please don't remove the "ClassicUI".
+1 for keeping Classic UI.
Remember what Coca-Cola did in the 80s with New Coke?

Huh. Just found another bug.
Thought I'd see what the 'Compact UI' looked like to see if it was worth joining the march to keep the 'Classic UI' as I didn't even realise there were two options.
If you don't have Elite running (I've not got my Hotas and everything hooked up atm and just wanted to look something up in TCE so I don't know if it happens with Elite running or not) and you have the TCE in 'Compact UI' and try to use the 'Panels' window then TCE crashes. 'Classic UI' seems fine and works properly so no clue why that happens.
First:
==========================================
Run-time error '380':
Could not set the Value property. Invalid property value.

Have you ever considered using elite dangerous marked connector for this instead of taking screenshots? link: https://www.reddit.com/r/EliteTraders/comments/38o255/elite_dangerous_market_connector/
Okay, okay it will stay, as it is. There are pros and cons with the Classic UI, but you all like it, i wont remove it.
Yes i have Office 365 32bit with the 32bit access runtime listed in pre reqs. I have tried reinstalling office, using office 2007, re installing windows, waiting 2 days to make sure i haven't missed any updates ect ect still getting the run time error 5 each time. No updates are available through win10 windows update or direct from office.

I'm struggling with this also. I too have patched Office to the latest version 15.0.4745.1001, 32bit Office 2013 Part of Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus (courtesy of my employers). I've downloaded and installed the run-time linked on the OP's post I've got everything working except the OCR link. When I press commodity > scan pricesd > clean scan... it says "Processing Paused" in the top right corner and then when I click on any part of the TCE device, it crashes, offers "end" and "Debug" options among others. It's Run-time Error 5 and debug gives TCE.xlsm - OCR_Data (code) with the .TextFilePlatform = -535 line highlighted.
I have sympathy for Eventure. He's created a great thing here, but I'll not worry any further if I can't get it to work automatically with OCR. I can still make use of TCE's other trade features, and that is still a step up from pen and paper!
Hmmm, dont know, why you having this problem.
The '.TextFilePlatform = -535' line has to do with the UTF-8 coding of the OCR export.csv file, because of special characters of german or french. I will check, if i can workout a solution, like streaming the csv file to read the content.
There must be something missing on your systems, because many other users didnt report this issue. Please check, if the export file was created correctly at the OCR_Export folder after pressing the scan button. Delete the file before you click on 'START OCR SCAN'.

Hello. I'm sorry if this has been asked before.
I'm having some problems understanding how ftp sharing works. I wanted to be sure that the ftp download would not erase my current database, so I made a test install of TCE. After this I made a test station to see what happened to it when I downloaded the new database. I'm glad I did this test because the test station I made dissapered from my database. Although I got the new stations, my stations dissapears. Am I doing it wrong? if so, could anyone please explain it to me how it works?

I deleted one file in the Elite Dangerous Extras\TCE\OCR_BMP folder. I deleted one file in the Elite Dangerous Extras\TCE\OCR_Export folder. I returned to restart the scan (TCE had been reloading while I was removing the files). TCE crashed again with a similar error, but a different value (I've PM'd you a screenshot). But here is the results of the first scan from teh file created after a fresh scan in-game:

I'm at a loss on how to do this. Perhaps due to the Office 365 ProPlus deployment being managed by my employers? In the past versions of Office, I would have expected to have access to the "repair" option which would open up a recognisable list of installed modules. But I can't find this on my install of Win10 and Office 365.
I may be wrong (I hope I am) but perhaps it's not possible for compatibility with Office 365 ProPlus, given that there can be options controlled by IT teams, rather than individuals? I'd be happy to pursue it further, but only if you have time or inclination. If not, I understand!
Evening all,
I was having the same Windows 10 problem. The Microsoft chat technician had me follow the steps below (repeat if it helps at your own risk):
1) Open a Command Prompt as Admin
2) type sfc /scannow
3) When that completes, shut down and restart PC
4) Uninstall Office 365 / 2013 fully
5) Restart
6) Install Office 365 / 2013
7) Voila!
Hope that helps
