Hi all yeah its not vsync ive messed about with it and problem still persists. its a bug it dont matter what graphical settings you have elite on the head tracking is butter smooth but as soon as you move your head everything goes into double triple vision.
Its not just AMD users. 1.4 does this on my gtx980's on windows 7. stopping super cruise and resuming only temporary fixes it. I opened up several tickets on this during beta. they never fixed it.
Hi Everyone,
I would like to know if all of you are happy with lag/judder you are experiencing when near resource extraction sites or asteroid fields??
No it seems to be a VR issue, 1.4 is much smoother at least according to what I can read from others and those I can ask that had jutter/stutter problems in 1.3, it seems entirely to be VR related, you tried to repeat the lag/jutter issue without VR connected? if not try? could help Frontier narrow it down.Hi Everyone,

I for one absolutely am NOT and find it unplayable there!
I have a Strix GTX970. CPU- XEON 5530-2.4GHZ. Win764bit. Have tried oculus drivers 0.5.0.1 and 0.6.0.1 and nvidia drivers 3.50.12 and 3.55.98. All doing exactly the same thing!
GPU showing 70% max usage and CPU showing 70-90% in all 4 cores.
Setting all the graphics settings to low while in normal 1920 x 1080p non-ss/dsr does make a little difference but not much.
In normal space and stations all is pretty good though.
Also just for your infos, warthunder works very nice no lag/judder/stutter issues even with 20 planes around. So maybe it's just elite bad optimization?!

Please specify what you mean with near resource extraction sites or asteroid fields.
Does that mean you are still in SC mode or already in normal flight mode.
I get judder (like dropping out of low persistance mode) only in SC mode (since 1.4), never in normal flight.
Slightly confused, that's what I said, that it is an entire VR issue? but yeah hopefully they can fix it for VR without adding stutter to non VR users again. No, this lag/judder I am talking about is strictly in VR. (We are in a VR thread aren't we?) It only presents itself when I move my head showing up as kind of double-vision and can actually happen anywhere not just in res fields. I believe it happens mostly when other ships are around. I did try once without my oculus and using only my flatscreen, problem definitely not there and getting in excess of 200FPS with max graphics settings.
