Roccat Power Grid

Bit more tweaking, added better icons....

Ive made another layout as I'm now playing with a HOTAS set up and my old layout didnt suit it or my playstyle.

Its been designed to work on my nexus 7 or any device with a 5 x 4 layout (landscape)

I'll upload the package to roccat's site soon but for now you can download it from mega and import.

DOWNLOAD REMOVED SEE NEXT POST

You may need to map the controls, Ive tried to keep them to default where possible but some of them I just couldn't remember so I had to pick new buttons.

Here is something I'm working on. This is the first time I ever attempted something like this and would appreciate any feedback.
.
Thanks
.
Note:
Each button has a reverse color scheme for Tap.

Am thinking of running this on my Nexus 10. Has anyone found a decent mount for the Nexus 10? I want to mount it in some sort of holder clamped to the side of my desk as I think in a stand will not be solid enough.

Yeah, I've tried a few - they were cack. I was looking for someone who had tried a few and found a solid working one

This tool is amazing! I love the idea and have only just now started to have a play with it...

I am using an iPad, and am just wondering if it is possible to assign targeting subsystems to a button - for example targeting a specifice subsystem like the Frameshift Drive, as opposed to scrolling through all of them?

They sure are taking a time updating the host and mobile app. We should of been seeing all the tablet updates by now, even if just one person were working on the software.

You're a terrible person, why would you post something like this? On a forum full of techy, people who like sci-fi space games? How could you?

NOW I have to go buy a NEW tablet, and create a control dashboard for this! God....probably more than one, small ones for different parts and make a virtual cockpit. So bloody inconsiderate.
Do you realize some of us are at work? You know we'll have to been thinking about this all night? Some people have wives, how do we explain to them why we had to buy all this new hardware?
----

Thanks for posting, it looks really neat. I'd use it on my smartphone but, I need that, and I think I'd want to do something like this mounted to get the best effect and make sure it's in a good location to be effective for playing.

You know what we really need? An app designed by FD that emulates one of the left and right control panels. So that we can take a tablet or the such, make our virtual cockpit with those menu's available to us.

FD do seemed to have missed a beat here by not designing an app to show in ship control panels. Maybe this will come in the future, there's a still a long road map ahead of development for the game. Powergrid fills that gap well though.

I'm in the progress of creating a new combat tab:

The targeting of modules will work via a macro unless FD allow us to assign a specific key to each.

Here is the set that will be released soon once Ive worked out a few kinks:

Let me know what you think.

Damn I wish this worked on a Windows 8.1 tablet! Any hope for Windows support any time soon?

I can't justify buying an Android or Apple device JUST for this.
Well... if I can use an old one, used and get it really cheap... So what's the minimum requirements for this app for an Android Tab?
It says Android 2.2 in the Google Store, but what's the corresponding tablet (or phone) model that will run this without lag?

ROCCAT scares me, I bought a mouse off them and every now and then the mouse driver shouts encouragement at me based on the total number of times I've clicked or scrolled. It can be a bit startling at 3am.

Nice mouse though.

LOL there is optons to enadle disable voice notifications. I have Roccat TYON mouse and nothing is popping out or screaming about achievements. There are options for voice communications just bother to find them and disable them if you so much hate that feature but in the first place somehow enabled it. Disable "Trophy notification"

This is awesome! And I was boggling my mind with planning to get some quite expensive X-keys, CH products MFP and now all I need is a smartphone! :D

Wait... I don't have smartphone :/ my crappy sony xperia decided to malfunction beyond experts abilities to fix that and then after some drop to the ground it decided to die without any visible damage so I swapped to older phones that are tougher and less malfunctioning (Except my old 2 sonyerickson i810 that have weird issues too. Damn sony!) Anyway all I need now is to buy some cheep used smartphone one day to be able to use this cool app :)

COOL!

Germany, never heard of hudl. Doesn't seem to be available here :(

Hudl is made for the Tesco supermarket and for the price is a decent spec.
I bought an Asus memo pad HD7 for £100, its like a somewhat higher spec version of the original Google Nexus and is lovely.
The original Nexus 7 should run fine too, or the current Nexus 7.

If you want a decent smart phone at a good price try the Nexus 4, was £280 when it was first released so should be cheap as chips now.
