I find its much more stable in open than solo. Either way, pretty poor show to get no updates here when it’s going to get fixed. Is it always like this? I only just started playing 2 weeks ago..

Been really bad since the big update a month back. Not too bad during the day, but as soon as the traffic peaks, the servers get slow, then usually fall over.
The update was nice, but the server issues are taking way too long to sort out.
Its usually a little unstable after a patch for a while, but open was always the worst with group and solo being far far more stable. I used to have dreadful connection problems but that was down to my flaky rural connection. I'm having and have had no issues at all with this update.
If you want to avoid the issue which is apparently solo only start your own private group and play in it on your own. Might evade whatever's going on with solo. According to FDEV and the launcher over the last few days that's where the problem is.

Unable to change instances right now, I joined the game & went for a jump - that failed but on rejoining I spawned in the new system (with the main star to port; new behaviour?) but am unable to jump to supercruise to use the FSS.
So the game is literally too broken to use for me right now. Looking forward to seeing some news from FDev, maybe it's the weather or something.
ETA left it a few minutes, tried another jump & it worked. Scooped fuel & on my way again.

I just checked & the last dev post in this thread was on the 31st Stigbob. You are not providing constructive feedback.
Managed to log in, and take off. Hung up when going to SC. Then, connection error.

Cobblers. They said they were aware of issues and asked for information from us, there's not very much in the bug report sub about this though instead people are just griping here which they won't see or take action on.
Post a link to your bug report about this issue or shut up about constructive feedback.
You are being remarkably defensive Stigbob. I'm not looking to debate whether there are any problems or not (although the why might be a discussion worth having), I am adding to an existing thread with my own feedback along with others. Your attitude in the thread comes across as one wishing to suppress the complaints for reasons I cannot fathom rather than simply ignoring the thread (if you have had no problems) or confirming that your connection is fine & hoping the problem is fixed soon.
