Yep, similar stuff for me. Scanning a new system doesn't recognize the body being scanned and stellar cartography option at a starport just hangs. Oh well, at least I can get some flying practice in and some BB missions.

Exactly the same here. I have loads of data to sell but can't. Also hoping the planets and stars I've scanned that still show as unknown afterwards have been included in my scanned data.

I think there must be many tickets (exploration), this is a very common problem since 2.05
It may even be right across the player base?

I know you said 2.05 was a single issue update, making coming out of hyperspace faster and smoother but it seems to have caused a lot of seemingly unrelated bugs that were not there in 2.04.

Exploration is basically pointless at the moment as objects remain unknown and can't sell in cartographics + all the other issues mentioned. I also saw 4 NPC's stuck near the surface of a planet in supercruise going nowhere.

The team has spent the last week searching through the logs with a fine-toothed comb to iron out any issues or problems with the build.

This latest server side specific update is a result of the ongoing testing from the community. The Elite: Dangerous team have dealt with technical problems that they wouldn't have otherwise found if it wasn't for the tickets you've been logging.

These updates are already live and don't require a galaxy server restart.

See the change log below:

- Commanders should no longer be fined 1 credit when the System Authorities find stolen cargo with a scan
- Commanders should once again be able to purchase ships that cost less than their current ship's trade-in value when they don't have sufficient credits to buy it without the part exchange
- Improvements to server balancing to make it more likely to encounter other Commanders in a given star system
- Fixed crash to desktop when hyperspacing to certain unpopulated star systems, and fixed exploration scanning whilst there
- Enabled per-commodity restock rates in Commodity Markets
- Commanders with large quantities of cargo in their holds should no longer receive such favourable prices
- Commanders who fly very quickly between Space Stations should no longer receive data for the wrong Commodity Market

Not sure what has happened since doing this but I haven't been able to get passed the spinning ship since.
 
How about another server update to fix the spinning ship issue, I can only get into the tutorials, I want to try out my shiny new Viper and I don't want to waste the weekend not being able to play.

Not sure if this is related but I can't get into the game this morning...
When I press play after login it thinks about it for a minute or so and then stops loading or crashes ???
 
just played for about 30 minutes, did some system jumps to fulfill missions.
Overall, a smooth journey. But when I wanted to fly my next mission and leave Aulin Enterprise, I got the message "Could not connect to server" und was kicked to the main menu. Happened to me the first time since Beta 2.04 ist out.
 
known issue Supercruise can sometimes have you drop out at incorrect location

i would like to ask if the issue related with "Supercruise can sometimes have you drop out at incorrect location" is any close to be solved , because for me there is not "sometimes" , is "almost always" i got dropped at incorrect location and i cannot complete missions because not only i get dropped at incorrect location but if i try to travel again to the right destination and exit supercruise i find myself twice and more times continiusly dropped at incorrect location making the targeted station for me unreachable.

p.s i have found that this is an open and known issue from the devs team.
 
Since yesterday:

mostly i can not connect to the game, nor open nor group nor solo. After that i close the game via the menü and it crashes so that i have to kill it via the taskmanager.
 
I was playing quite happily in open last night until about 10pm then in solo until midnight.

Now I'm trying to access open play and am stuck on the spinning ship - been there 5 mins so going to kill the process and log a bug report.
 
i had an odd bunch of messages as well in private it refused my landing request at at least a dozen stations....all were far out too...when i returned to core i could land
