The folding may occur when the landing gear is deployed rather than at touchdown - so as not to encroach onto adjacent pad limits prior to touchdown.

Oh! Right.
We shall see, but there is quite some time till October :/
This forum thread is very strange. A couple pages ago a person asked about 90 degree turn.Indeed. It was just a visual illusion that it might not fit. I tried superimposing it rotated, and it would indeed fit very comfortably.

Ok, Now I don't know where I did a mistake. I think I need to be more careful to perspective.
Official dimensions:
Mamba - 72 m
Type-7 - 99 m
A lot of forum users tend to skip a lot of pages in threads with lot of pages, neither all of them follows every post and page (such as this one, 27 pages already), and obviously it can cause for discussions might be repeat independly. This forum thread is very strange. I remembered that it was shown on page 10 and gave the answer that it was already there. And then the same picture appears and people put likes.
Don't people read the forum? Or is it more interesting to discuss the same thing?
I don't understand![]()
You can't tell from the photo of the pad what goes down the elevator shaft. But I think the boundaries beyond which you can't go are marked with a dotted line.I ran your pic through some filters to highlight the Mamba more clearly.View attachment 400640

Not lights and exactly a dotted line with corners.
Then why the dotted line with the corners ? And in any case there should be a reserve, a safe zone.Yellow line is the edge.

When you have the opportunity to buy Mandalay, it will be possible to take T8 for credits. The more I follow this discussion, the more I'm tempted to get the Mandalay even though the T8 is higher on my priority list right now specially with PP 2.0 coming soon![]()
