Show us your interesting discoveries!

They are Albidium Slicate Crystals, bumped into a few types myself, quite common but as mentioned don't neessarily record correctly in the codex.

Yeah, I'm interested what Frontier will say to the ticket. I will let you know.

Yeah, there are are anemones and brain trees in other regions that won't scan into the codex at all, or they appear to at first, but then the entry is gone when you log in again. It's been reported many times, and then FDev claimed they fixed it in the patch notes of a previous update, but it's all still broken.

I'm not sure which is worse, the fact that FDev lets bugs like this persist for years, or that they claim to fix them and still leave them broken.

So it's like with almost all bugs they know :D

Nice find CMDR! PS: I also see a massive ice world as planet E2 in the map. Do you know how many G's this planet has?
That Icy one doesn't look so massive to me.
It looks sub 15,000km radius which means well below 2g I reckon.

If I'm mistaken, all the better. :)

EDIT:
Just checked one 19,780 radius Icy one, it is 2.14g (20.8172 Earth masses).
The one in Rooster's pick might after all be bigger than 15,000km - hard to judge.

This odd water world has rings (not so odd but nice) but no atmosphere! Now thats odd.
Also, the moons are all between the 1st and 2nd ring.

Anyone who can explain this water world?

Some odd things I've noticed with regards to impact craters;

The game seems to often generate extremely uniform crater patterns, usually following alongside the day/night divide of certain worlds. There will usually be very few craters elsewhere on the surface, but around the entire circumference there will be this odd band with tons of these evenly space impacts. The terrain generator is clearly lacking in some randomisation somewhere. Either that or someone is doing very methodical weapons testing out in the black.

The same issue is with the canyons on icy bodies. They are extreme on the night side but only faint on the day side.
But I don't think that Frontier will rework this.. unfortunately.

Ok...still recovering from that last system entry, you know a game still has you locked in when it takes a few minutes for your heart to get back to normal. I thought it might be an interesting jump in when I saw it was a black hole system with 3 neutron stars, somehow I missed one star, and this is what my system entry looked like;

I'm not sure but I think I might have jumped through that big one, and I have no idea where the black hole is in this setup so I am frantically trying to avoid neutron death and burning by big yellow burny thing and at the same time trying not to be spaghettified by a black hole which is somewhere among this lot, but I have no idea where. Ok my hearts still working well, I know that now!
