That would be great, please do, thank you for the advice.

Also just to make sure when you say that you mean something like thisView attachment 416273
Sorry, took a while.
Anyways this is how i set my skink up. Got the heater in the middle over a stack of rocks and a log, that way she has more options to get to the exact temperature she wants by either sitting on the rocks or climbing up the log. The uvb is directly above that, covering pretty much the length of the log.
Its a little hard to see but i created an overhang on both ends of the terrarium, these double as hiding places and artificially increase the useable space by acting as essentially a second floor. On the left end i also have a plastik box with a hole in the side full of moss serving as a wet box, i covered it with a cocofiber mat so it doesnt look as ugly.
The terrarium itself is made of 10mm thick chipboard and sealed from the inside with animal safe epoxy resin so it can withsand the moisture.

Also the background is starting to look kinda ugly since this was the second terrarium ive build and i didnt really know what i was doing back then. Its definetly due for a remake, but as its just cosmetic and the lizard doesnt really care who it looks its on the end of my reptile priority list atm.

Thanks for the pics, mine would probably be way simpler and lazier but I will definitely take some inspiration from this.

Honestly when it comes to pet inspiration I like watching SerpaDesigns on YouTube. He makes beautiful planted habitats on YouTube. From what I have seen he usually makes tropical habitats, but I think the process is still cool.

I don’t know if anyone else has this issue, but I’m trying to think of how to balance my hobbies when I am finally in the working world and out of school. So far I want to:
  1. Own some fish and frogs
  2. Read Warhammer and even start painting the figures
  3. I would love to make a natural garden and pond for my yard
Has anyone else gone through this? I’m trying to think of how to budget, and I’ll already have a ton of debt. On top of I would eventually want a house and kids.

Did yall see the new additions to minecraft, there clucking awesome
(This god awful pun was brought to you by Mr-Hyrax Incorporated)

I love the new fireflies and cow variants to, but what's your opinion on the new chicken variants as well as the dry grass and catus flower, personally I love all of them.
Not a super big fan of the look of the cold chicken, but I’m liking everything so far. I’m still waiting for the other animals and features they promised.

I would love to see some fish variants, like the cold trout being a rainbow trout, a cold salmon looking more like how it does before going to sea, I don't know what a hot and cold salmon could look like but I think they would be neat.

I would love a lot of different variants:
  1. Maybe some parrots for other biomes would be cool
  2. Another new spider (like a tarantula)
  3. Maybe a new type of mushroom animal, like a cluckshroom
  4. New sheep would be cute
  5. As you stated new fish
  6. Maybe an aggressive variation of squid? Like based on the Humboldt squid
I like how they are focusing on the “ecology” of Minecraft, but they are still a bit slow at updating things. I’m still hoping I will see the ostrich, termite, meerkat, vulture, penguin, and crab sometime soon.

Funny you mentioned fishes variants considering the tropical fish has "only" 3072 variants. But i do agree that more cold themed fishes variants would be nice.

Btw how do you guys think they will update sheeps? they are the last of the classical four animals that doesn't have anything, and personally something like a Jacob sheep for cold biomes and a Cameron sheep for warm climes would be quite interesting.

I mean they kinda gotta keep the colored wool thing, so i doubt they can really do all that much with them

Maybe if we get a Suffolk sheep variant we can have color coats and sheep variants.
Also I can still see a Jacob’s sheep working, it will just have some spots.
