Whoa, that seems early! Is that the US system? I think it's half term here but school summer holidays don't start until July. British kids get longer winter / spring holidays though so I think it evens out. Any fun plans for the summer?Yea, my summer break started, Honestly I actually miss school a little bit, it was a pain, but it gave me something to do.
I am in Alabama, I also do homeschooling, so I got done a little sooner than necessary. I don't have much planned for this summer, want to go to New York to see some relatives, but the chances are slim, I also want to go to Memphis, but Chattanooga is closer and more likely, that's really it, will do some swimming and maybe go to the zoo once or twice, also I was surprised to see that the secretary bird was rare in zoos because the only zoo I have ever been to (Birmingham Zoo) has them.Whoa, that seems early! Well, it's more distance learning, my school offers a learning service called Access, and my facilitator gets it set up for me, but my brain is pretty much mush, so I can't really explain much more about it.That sounds great
Mind if I ask, how do you find homeschooling? It's not a very common thing in the UK so I'm curious. I was an English teacher for a few years (mainly 16-20 year olds, helping them prep for uni) so always curious about different educational experiences.
Aw, I am sure that's not true, you articulate yourself really well on here. I've also taught neurodivergent kids and I'm ADD myself or a bit neurospicy, as I like to call it! We're all on a spectrum of some kind and we all have different strengths. Be kind to yourself, you deserve itWell, it's more distance learning, my school offers a learning service called Access, and my facilitator gets it set up for me, but my brain is pretty much mush, so I can't really explain much more about it.
Yea, when I said that I meant at the moment, not as a whole, but I do need to be less hard on myself.Aw, I am sure that's not true, you articulate yourself really well on here. I eeally want a squirrel! Lucky you those are so cute. There are some black squirrels near where I live, they're extremely rare!Anyway, while I sadly don't have any pics I got some fox squirrels outside, and I just love them, gray squirrels are fine, but fox squirrels are a million times better, also prevost squirrel is an underrated addition to the game.

They lived right among the African penguins, so much fun to watch squeaking and scurrying around, fat but so nimble!
Speaking of squirrels, I saw a ground squirrel today and got some really good pics, they’re unfortunately too large for the thing to send and I’m actually staying in the park tonight so I barely have enough reception to se this message, let alone send and compress images! I also saw a couple black bears today! But the stinking car mirror got in the way of its face in the one good shot! Oh well, next time…Anyway, while I sadly don't have any pics I got some fox squirrels outside, and I just love them, gray squirrels are fine, but fox squirrels are a million times better, also prevost squirrel is an underrated addition to the game.
A few fox squirrels have moved in on my property within the last year. I’m in Georgia. Absolutely love seeing them. What a gorgeous species. Would love to have them, as well as red and gray squirrels, as a walkthrough exhibit animals.Anyway, while I sadly don't have any pics I got some fox squirrels outside, and I just love them, gray squirrels are fine, but fox squirrels are a million times better, also prevost squirrel is an underrated addition to the game.
Easiest way to compress the photos with no effort on your part is just to screen shot the photo from your camera roll.Speaking of squirrels, I saw a ground squirrel today and got some really good pics, they’re unfortunately too large for the thing to send and I’m actually staying in the park tonight so I barely have enough reception to se this message, let alone send and compress images!
