Spanish language localization promise not fullfilled yet

Facts :
Frontier promessed Spanish translation 9 months ago...
Spanish is the third most spoken language in the WORLD.
With Powerplay the will be more confusing for Spanish Gamers....
Please do it..... Soon... Very soon....

I will add a +1 to all this requests. Its a wonderful game, instead all its missing and not completed stuff, but I think that with a community deserving to do anything possible to see this game working in spanish, you should at least let the community help in the translation. Work for free, benefits to all of us... If not interested, please, get your word done and translate.

This is EXACTLY what I am talking about. Instead of fulfilling promises to the people that have ALREADY bought the game, they are spending all their resources for Xbox release instead.

This is my gripe with Frontier. No to half-finished translations for people who have already bought the game is totally irresponsible. I would say this is TOP priority. Even before new features. I honestly would not mind waiting 3 months of no updates just so that people around the world could play the game in their own language.

Asking for something is fine - this level of vitriol and harrasment is not acceptable from any group.

Re-think your approach.

What is promised to sell a game on early access should be fulfilled.
Many people buy the game for this reason.
Please,Please,Please

Hey guys, no news on this yet. But I have pointed this thread towards those in charge of this decision. So they know that people want it.

Thank you.

Many people left the game because they failed several missions only because something was misunderstood.
A lot more people were waiting but bored spend their money in another games.

All friends who i expected to play with are now playing happily other games and when asked they told me that will not buy Elite because "it's too late, other players growth a lot and we dont want to be their easy and newbies targets".
And obviously their english speaking friends left Elite too so they can play together.

It's easy to understand. The longer it takes for spanish language, the bigger number of players who forgot Elite.

Sorry for my bad english, but i am one of the fooled guys who bought this game when Frontier announced that will be released in spanish.
Best regards.

Although, I know it won't do anything, I will create an official petition for all languages. I will not ask for immediate localization, but I will ask for a timeline on how all these languages will be implemented.

Oh and French people I did not forget you, I will create a petition demanding proper translations.

who cares about spanish? the game has hundreds of bugs and thousands of missing features.
I'd rather want the Devs focused on FINISHING THE GAME, intead of losing precious time in petty translations

I dont speak any of the localization languages; however, I think getting their localization is TOP priority. Who cares about bugs when people can't even play because of their language barrier?

Ugh. This is not the way things work! Stopping all work on the game while a localisation is completed would be a moronic thing to do. Or do you expect Michael Brookes, Mike Evans, et al to be the ones doing the translation?

TBH I am surprised that the Spanish translation hasn't been completed yet. It should be a fairly easy one to outsource, especially somewhere like Cambridge. Perhaps they reason that because many people who speak Spanish also speak English there isn't much of a demand for it?

Unfortunately you don't have a right to demand Frontier provide any localisation beyond what they already promised. If French players can't play the game, then that's Frontier's loss. If they feel it'll sell more copies of the game, I'm sure they'll get it done. What they should be doing is making sure they get all the localisations done that were originally promised, and if Spanish is on that list then there's certainly a case for applying pressure until it's delivered.
