This ^^^^You’re making stuff up that hasn’t been said. You’ve taken the fact that they didn’t mention something to mean that it won’t happen. You can’t possibly know that.
Thank you for crediting me, but, believe it or not, that is not my logic, not at all. I thought that perceiving and understanding already shared (and ones that aren't) pieces of information is common-sense.by your logic, we won't be seeing internal spaces at all,as we havent seen them yet. So you're really claiming there isn't anything we havent seen yet.
Bizarre.
I dont believe you believe that, which implies ...
Guns werent shown.This. There is no reason why walking inside your ship, providing it's planned, wouldn't be shown in the previous or this video. It's simply not there, people.
Very true. However, FD are notorious for doing exactly that. Remember when they showed off fleet carriers? They almost never, if at all, talked about ship and module storage, despite it being one of the most requested features for carriers. That could've just been down to storage automatically being implied as a feature, but my point stands.Valid point, but I simply cannot believe they would hide such a big feature for, literally, no reason. They accomplish nothing by hiding it. Nothing, except making the player base frustrated.
But nobody can find that. Nobody. It isn't on the dev tracker, even at the time it was first suggested. It has been confirmed in a former announcement, though I can't bother to look it up right now. They didn't say explicitly "never", but they were very clear about 'walking in ships' would not be available in Odyssey. Definitely not at release.
Guns werent shown.
First person hud wasn't shown.
Internal spaces on outposts weren't shown.
Outside spaces on outposts weren't shown.
No features other than the POINT OF THE VIDEO were shown.
They haven't talked about what happens if, while out of your ship, you die .... so I guess we're all invincible while on foot?It has been confirmed in a former announcement, though I can't bother to look it up right now. I have not made anything up, for starters. You’re making stuff up that hasn’t been said. You’ve taken the fact that they didn’t mention something to mean that it won’t happen. You can’t possibly know that.
I think the main reason why you can't walk inside your ship is because your rail gun rifle is like class 4 in size.
Maybe they aren't. You could be right, but I think the point is, given that Frontier haven't said anything on the subject (and they've said more about VR than interiors) ... the point is, YOU DON'T KNOW.I have not made anything up, for starters.
And second, I would be more than happy to be proven wrong by FDevs, but it ain't happening. Interiors are not coming. Simple as that.

Here's my suggestion on how you please everyone (VR people, don't start on me)X-Plane has some highly detailed interior cabins with moving tables, TVs, window screens etc. After playing
with them for 10 minutes I never go back except maybe to rarely look out a window. My favorite Gulfstream
G650 doesn't even have a cabin only the cockpit. It is awesome flying from the USA to Jamaica!
Why invest all that coding in ED eye candy if there is no real use for it? Imagine seeing a coded interior but
your imagination version was better. Let's go with interacting cities. I'm GUESSING we'll leave our ED ships
similar to the cut-screen for the SRV and that's fine with me.

1. A commander standing in front of their SRV had a gun on her back.1. Guns werent shown.
2. First person hud wasn't shown.
3. Internal spaces on outposts weren't shown.
4. Outside spaces on outposts weren't shown.

Developers are also considering allowing them to walk around inside starships, exploring the vessels they’ve owned for years for the first time. The feature won’t be available at launch when Elite Dangerous: Odyssey comes to PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One sometime in early 2021.
