For JWE2 it’s normal, I think the CC pack came out in the first week of march as well.So soon? I actually thought the wait was gonna be a lot longer. Guess we will hear sooner than I thought!

I think chances are very high that the people who worked on the console version are not the same developers as the ones that have been working on Planet Zoo so far, simply because those would be less likely to have or still have (active) experience with the console side of things. Most likely the console devs are either a separate group of people within Frontier or an external group of devs they hire specifically for this kind of stuff.I'm not sure is going to be a bigger DLC. Is just getting delayed because all resources are focus on consolé. If there is just a skeleton crew working on the DLC it will take longer to reléase so i would not expect something outside of the ordinary.
Of course it will. They're just not going to mention the DLC's they haven't announced yet, pretty much how they also didn't announce that PZ console was going to be featured in the first monthly recap until the day the console version was announced.Good question: The new dlc or new dlcs (if we have more) would come in the season pass?
To be clear, it's not my dream roster eitheri mean i'm not opposed to an Americas animal pack but not with that roster dear god.
I’ve been hoping for the Arrau Turtle for a while. But after the Hermann’s Tortoise being put in The Box, I’m not too confident about it being implemented as a habitat animalAlso here is what I think could be a cool oddball for South America:
The Arrau turtle, also known as the South American River Turtle has a shell that is 3.5 feet long and it gets up to 200 pounds! I think it could make for a cool habitat animal, and be our first habitat turtle and second turtle species in the game.

Even in the AZA SAFE program turtles are one of the species being mentioned, so I think it would be cool to get another turtle in game.
Arrau is on my wishlist. I wouldn't fret about it being an exhibit animal if it were to come, they're MASSIVE.I’ve been hoping for the Arrau Turtle for a while. But after the Hermann’s Tortoise being put in The Box, I’m not too confident about it being implemented as a habitat animal![]()
I see your Arrau turtle and raise you one Pig Nosed. Also here is what I think could be a cool oddball for South America:

The pignoses problem is that its functionally fully aquatic. They can barely move around on land, and like sea turtles the only reason they would do so is to lay eggs.I see your Arrau turtle and raise you one Pig Nosed.

I coulda swore they went on land, but yeah you're right they don't unless they are in nesting season. I'm off this turtle train then. The pignoses problem is that its functionally fully aquatic. Similar situation on why we likely will never see snapping turtles or giant salamanders as habitat animals, these can traverse land somewhat compentantly but rarely if ever do so willingly. So having any of these shuffle around on land for the amount of time the crocodilian, seals and other semi aquatic animals do in PZ would look just so bizarre.
So arrau is proably the best bet for habitat turtles.
An elderly gentlemanSpeaking of fly river turtle, shout-out to my co-worker Freddy the fly river turtle at my day job at the Bronx Zoo.
He's the Bronx 's oldest resident, living there since 1954!!!
Still, I want to be hopeful and believe. I’m sure I’m probably gonna like the pack, whatever it is.I’m sure Frontier wants to surprise us, the thing is I just don’t know how they will do it.
Will they give us the meta wishlist animals we are looking for?
Will they give us the South American animals we have been waiting for?
Will we get the birds, monkeys, rodents, and other underrepresented habitat animal groups in the final dlc?
Will the final dlc be bigger than 8 animals and scenery?
Obviously way too many questions, and also taking into account this is the last dlc, it’s likely not everyone will be happy.
Well that was there strategy last year and idk if it paid off judging my everyone’s thoughts on 2023Will they give us the meta wishlist animals we are looking for?
