Planet Farm would be worse.Nah, Planet Aviary is the worst option.

Not sure if I understand you right but what I meant was that the game without new content would not be as exciting anymore. With all due respect, I couldn't disagree more. It's like saying that all we wanted that got in doesn't matter at that point. Do we not want to enjoy all of the things we got instead of focusing on the things we didn't get?
Maybe just me but the most exciting thing is finally completing a zoo after months or years worth of work. Getting a new dlc is nice but often new dlc are just one drop in a huge pile of animals already ingame. I can see content creators and people who only build "dlc zoos" value new content more than existing content but that mindset values the content we could have not the content we already have. Likely those same people will jump ship at the very sight of support ending. What excites us players the most?
Planet zoo is a creative sandbox builder at its heart, the content already given to us plus the huge choice of mods to choose from allows years and years of never ending playability. Just because support ends doesn't mean you have to quit the game, nothing is telling anyone that. I'm sure there are still people who still play the original zoo tycoon games years after support ended.Without the new content and only with the new platform the game for us PC players may as well be dead.
Planet farm would be so cool! Fluffy animals and fieldwork to do all under the planet series building.Planet Farm would be worse.
That is exciting but without some of the animals i'm still waiting for this will never be possible for me since they are part of my most important zoo project and i already have lay out theirs enclosures in the plans.Maybe just me but the most exciting thing is finally completing a zoo after months or years worth of work.
Okay, that I can understand. And I realize that the interest of some players will decrease, totally understandable. I definitely read it as more of what I said in my previous post, appreciate your POV on this point. Not sure if I understand you right but what I meant was that the game without new content would not be as exciting anymore.
Most of us support the game for so long because of the new content. Without it the game would get kind of boring after some time.
Apparently people are 99% sure that PZ is coming to console yet and it would be too hard for dev to create new content and develop the 16 existing DLCs for a new platform at the same time. That + the fact that Frontier didn't give any clues regarding new DLC in the financial year 2025 that will start in June.I've been out of the loop for a while, is there a reason why every youtuber is saying the next pack will be the last pack?
They released some kind of financial report where they said they had a PC game coming to another platform, which is very likely PZ coming to console. PC ended with a console release.I've been out of the loop for a while, is there a reason why every youtuber is saying the next pack will be the last pack?
Yeah, I'm looking at 6 long standing highly requested/talked about animals and thinking it's possible we might get 2 of them if there's one pack left, and maybe 3 or at most 4 if there's too packs:Apparently people are 99% sure that PZ is coming to console yet and it would be too hard for dev to create new content and develop the 16 existing DLCs for a new platform at the same time. We're doomed.
I'm not gonna have my walrus, I'm gonna cry in the first place and after that I'm gonna riot.
What excites us players the most?
The new content obviously or even the possibility of it.
Without the new content and only with the new platform the game for us PC players may as well be dead. Also for the new console players the new content seems to be a logical cause of the long lasting potential involvement.
If after PZ on console release they would decide to drop off the PDLC which would cost them 30% of the whole game income (according to the financial reports) it would be the most unlogical decision I have ever seen in my life.
Im actually between these optinions. With all due respect, I couldn't disagree more. It's like saying that all we wanted that got in doesn't matter at that point. Do we not want to enjoy all of the things we got instead of focusing on the things we didn't get?
If we're about to have the final DLC and based on what people say about it being a big DLC, wouldn't it be possible to imagine all or at least most of these species in it? I mean if the final DLC contains 15-20 species, they definitely don't need to be related. The DLC doesn' need a particular theme.Yeah, I'm looking at 6 long standing highly requested/talked about animals and thinking it's possible we might get 2 of them if there's one pack left, and maybe 3 or at most 4 if there's too packs:
Coatimundi
Secretary Bird
Baboon (primarily Hamadryas)
Musk Ox
Walrus
Tree Kangaroo
A good 20 to reach 200, I like round numbersWell since this next one seems to be the last, they better give us 20+ animals to get over the 200 mark!I was honestly expecting we'd at least get two packs this year
I'm not sure where we keep getting this information, planet coaster ended development of dlc well over a year before the console port arrived.PC ended with a console release.
I love your point of view and share it.With all due respect, I couldn't disagree more. It's like saying that all we wanted that got in doesn't matter at that point. Do we not want to enjoy all of the things we got instead of focusing on the things we didn't get?
I've shared much of the same general sentiment you've posted lately too. As a person who definitely wanted and will "miss," for lack of a better word, the lack of flying birds, I've moved past that, have come to terms that it's not happening. So looking past that, I'm extremely happy with the roster. Sure, New World Monkeys are the weakest point for the mammal roster, IMO, and I feel we could definitely use some more habitat birds, but otherwise I'm good and think it's a roster that I can truly enjoy for years.I love your point of view and share it.
Of course it's easier for me to say then for someone who wanted flying birds, but seriously, we have a zoo game with so much variety and so many features. The possibility for new zoos to build are nearly limitless for creative players.
It's like christmas. Gift unwrapping is fun, but really enjoying all the wonderful things we got is at some point the more fullfilling thing.
