That's interestingFinally, wild yaks have more than one color. In addition to the most common black, there are also individuals with brown hair mixed with them. And some individuals have very gorgeous golden fur.

Yes, I brought this up a few pages ago.Maybe it’s not the best place to discuss this and I didn’t come to any assumptions but this is simply weird:
The person who got layed off for exactly this position got layed off 4 months ago, in december. Was also a typo on my part. Its like half a year ago.
Maybe different game projects make a difference? Idk
Yeah i think so tooWoah I missed a lot. I got nothing to add on the whole new game coming later this year discussion but jumping back to the livestream discussion since I missed it,
I agree with @AndyZoos they are not going to announce the pack during the stream. I think it’s something to do with the format of the streams. They don’t only cover PZ on the streams they also cover elite and F1 or whatever, so if they announce it on there some of the audience won’t care. Plus, not everyone watches those streams cause they’re busy and the streams are in the afternoon which would break every single pattern of the packs announcing at least before noon. Announcing the pack to just the PZ audience through their socials is the way to go.
Like I said last week, the stream is on the 24th (April), the day before is a Tuesday obviously, so it would make sense to announce the pack then so that the day after they can look over everything in the pack, maybe not gameplay per say but perhaps show a couple new screenshots. I feel like it wouldn’t be logical to wait until may cause then they can’t use the stream to advertise - but that’s just my take on it.
"End of the year" is broad, though! Haha. They said FY25 and FY26.Unless i missremember they also said its releasing towards the end of the year
They specifically said its going to be released this year."End of the year" is broad, though! Haha. They said FY25 and FY26.
So the first game could technically release anywhere between June 2024 and May 2025. That said, I think we should expect something sooner... Especially if PZ support is truly ending. An announcement in May/June with a release later in calendar year 2024 (November or December) would make sense with past announce dates/release dates if they announce it.
No no, they said they're releasing 3 CMS games over the next 3 fiscal years. So we're looking at one this year, one next year and one the year after that."End of the year" is broad, though! Haha. They said FY25 and FY26.
Yeah, I'm now thinking April 24th is the absolute latest we get a DLC reveal. That way, they can talk about it on the stream.Like I said last week, the stream is on the 24th (April), the day before is a Tuesday obviously, so it would make sense to announce the pack then so that the day after they can look over everything in the pack, maybe not gameplay per say but perhaps show a couple new screenshots. You're not the first person to say this, but it certainly bears repeating! Haha. I struggle to think of a small mammal that they'd have to create fully from scratch at this point. Whether it be the rig or the animations. I'm sure they're out there but for the most part...There's not a single animal on the list that requires an animation set from scratch (yes, that includes the tree kangaroo, you'd be surprised how much can be re-used, or should we talk about how the Tasmanian Devil uses a readjusted raccoon animation set); so all are doable in the time and budget they have for a DLC.
Hard agree on the theme. I would much prefer a "general" pack over a biome-centered one at this point... Especially if there's scenery involved!I left some out that I'd also be happy with (baboon, howler, secretary bird), but man these would just hit the spot for me personally. I'd take this over a specific region/climate/biome pack any time of the week, I feel like the last pack really should just give us a bunch of things we can use all over our zoos.
Well shoot. This is even better than I thought! Holy wow. I don't know why I only thought two...No no, they said they're releasing 3 CMS games over the next 3 fiscal years. So we're looking at one this year, one next year and one the year after that.
Well it could release on the 23rd cause chances are it’s gonna be a Tuesday, I doubt they would release it the same day of the stream. That would mean we get an announcement next week on the 16th, and idk the steam thing just got updated, seems kinda sudden… but I would love to be wrong lol.Yeah, I'm now thinking April 24th is the absolute latest we get a DLC reveal. But I'm still not fully convinced it won't be released at that point. They are really going to want to pump this DLC up for the end of FY24 especially if it's cross-platform with console... And while I agree not everybody watches the streams? It's still a good platform to discuss these things and could be used as a tool to get people who might be on the fence about buying it. And if they don't talk about it now then they're kinda stuck waiting until the end of May to talk about it in a stream...
It could certainly go in either direction, and if we don't have any more info by next Tuesday I'll be right there with you. But as of now, I'm not convinced. The lead time between announce and DLC has been about a week the last two go-rounds so the old pattern is out the window.

Either way we’re looking at an announcement either next week or the week after, which I can wait til. We are now finally getting in range of announcement time, so so exciting![]()
Yeah, sorry - that's what I meant! A release on the 23rd is possible. I'd also tend to agree that they wouldn't announce it on the same day as the stream too...I am really thinking against a May release, i get the “steam db is 5 weeks updated away from announcement” thing but idk it just feels too long, and that’s not just cause im bored of new content lol Waiting like 3 more weeks would be really annoying for the whole community expecting something probably, I don’t think a May release is that likely.
Yeah I hadn't thought of that, clearly things are changing for both games schedule. I feel like the next pack for JWE2 could be their final pack cause it could be an expansion since the lqa was updated a lot earlier, as for PZ hoping its not the final one but if it gives me at least some of what I want then I'll be satisfied.but I think it's worth noting how quickly JWE2 got a second outsource_lqa after that DLC release!

What?? Do you think we'll have something new this 14th April ?May 14th seems likely then.
They Are Talking About Next Month Which Is Called May.What?? Do you think we'll have something new this 14th April ?
(sorry if I misunderstood, I'm not english)
The hints with community challenge have always been vague like how before eurasia they had a cold climate themed challenge they are likely designed to get people into the theme. From DLC there's been 4 primates, at 1 per given year. Rodents and Habitat Reptiles also average 1 per year.
Birds have been 2 per year on average (getting 3 last year), Marsupials have been 2 per year except none in 2021.
Hoofstock is easy to make, and easy to use/mix, so the usage stats they get back probably look pretty good.
Carnivorans have featured in every pack apart from Oceania, it sort of suggests they're not that confident in a pack selling without one, or something equivalent.
Have they hinted stuff that way before? I can see on the wayback machine there's one for Oceania animals shortly after the Oceania pack launch, but can't see anything from before. For other ones I don't see connections.
On a seperate note, how do challenges work? Is it a competition to release the most, or is it more a collaboration? I'm guessing there's always a base game animal to use (For Oceania I guess it was the Saltwater crocodile), as the Polar Bear is a bit awkward for console players right now.
Aaargh, thaanks, now I'm dyingThey Are Talking About Next Month Which Is Called May.
