Spring dlc Speculation 2023

I unfortunately have no idea, it doesnt even mean anything except being similar to "kombo" (combo).
I mean I still find giving an animal a name other than the mainstream (such as galago in the case of bushbabies) pretty respectable. Also when I went to Prague and Plzen I found the name for kangaroo amazing as well.

Am I the only one who doesn't find it funny at all, that now some people write new posts in the old DLC-threads, that it always looks like the new one is there?
Yes, I wish those threads were closed when the announcement is coming soon (we all know it's coming so it would not spoil it)

I live 4 hours away from Boston, MA which is the place closest to me that has a pretty good zoo. I'm hoping to go there this April. I'm so excited! Gonna see Western lowland gorillas for the first time! I went to ZSL London Zoo last April, but they weren't out.
Oh, the zoo in Franklin Park? I've been there once on a trip to the area. It did not disappoint.

Most of Europe and the Middle East (and now also most of Asia)'s fauna and flora has been hugely impacted by human presence, for centuries. As a French guy, I'm quite sad most of Western's Europe original wildlife has been replaced by domestic animals (peak deforestation in France occured in the 14 and 15th centuries)
When I was in France as a kid they took us on a tour to "see french nature". They showed us a bunch of pastures and farm animals, and I was very dissapointed.

Extant large land animals of israel: Wild boar, eurasian otter, caracal, striped hyena, rock hyrax, nubian ibex, sand cat

Reintroduced animals: onager, arabian oryx, kleinmanns tortoise, persian fallow deer, roe deer

Extinct large land animals in Israel: nile crocodile, lion, syrian brown bear, ostrich, cheetah, addax, red deer, hippo, and recently leopards

So yeah we're supposed to have much more, but we have 1uite a few and hopefully in a few years we'll have a few more.
I didn't know hippos used to live in Asia! That's so interesting! I would honestly love to visit someday!
