You can leave user review with a score. But no 'metascore' or 'userscore' in the main box of the page til release because Metacritic doesn't activate this box if the game is not released, despite every 'evidences' that some here sent themOhh Ok there is not press metascore for SC and should not be neither user metascore but how come those 129 people managed to give their score and review?
The evidence is CIG itself having stated that SC has been released (in early access) soYou can leave user review with a score. So, why the press is not massively reviewing the game ? That's what they do when a game is releasedThe evidence is CIG itself having stated that SC has been released (in early access) so.
That is probably a tad more convincing than just looking if someone has done a review or not. Again, if you have any questions maybe you need to clarify with the company that says it has released the product?
You seem to be confusing finalized/complete with released. SC is far from complete indeed even though it is already released. Many released games out there in the same situation, early access or not.
@Viajero still waiting for your response on this oneJust to understand your reasoning, when do you think Baldurs gate 3 was released?
Not necessarily, some games have more reviews than others. In the case of SC, there are several reasons why reviews are limited, but we have already covered this before in the thread:So, why the press is not massively reviewing the game ? That's what they do when a game is released
It's a good thing then that neither CIG nor Bethesda have done that (it's very obvious you haven't played Starfield)"we all know the tech isn't the same" for sure we know.
No one in SC want 1000+ skybox planets with a loading screen that put you on non concomitant tiles of 1x1 km with a random biome and 4 random generic POI
Ho, explain to me what is false about SF in my sentence ?It's a good thing then that neither CIG nor Bethesda have done that (it's very obvious you haven't played Starfield)![]()
Quite less than that. In this 3D scene, almost nothing can be interacted with. NPCs are place holder assets that are supposed to be on a hard coded movement loop - and even that loop crashes. Everything else is static 3D assets. I'll not get into the train bugs and how it's not in sync (because it's a different map..). Stairs can kill you too, if the server lags a bit behind your movement. So we're talking about a very small, non-functional 3D scene that anyone can slap together in Unity or UE in a few days work vs a full fledged Bethesda RPG ? lol. That is the power of 1/10th of Starfield my friends. A new summer dawns....
Yeah, everyone can slap a working train in a multi game in a few days work. It's so easy that Bethesda hasn't done it in a solo gameQuite less than that. I've already added modded behaviour to the NPC's in Starfield...mine are a tad more spicy and intelligent than vanilla. All this before the creation kit has even been released.Yeah, everyone can slap a working train in a multi game in a few days work. It's so easy that Bethesda hasn't done it in a solo game
For sure, if you replace all technical challenges by loading screens, every one can slap what you want in Unity or UE, that's what Bethesda has done. The worst is that NPC are less 'alive' and have less interactions with the player than in Skyrim. The IA of non hostile NPCs has regressed in 8 years...

I'm currently running around 25 mods in Starfield...a mixture of all sorts from planetary physics, character textures, totally redesigned ship and charcter HUD and player inventory, AI behaviour and actual game engine physics like the removal of planetary tiles. Starfield has over 2,700 free mods available on the Nexus less than a fortnight after release...including one which introduces a form of supercruise between planets. I'll say this again...before the official creation kit has been released and the floodgates truly open.
Pity we still can't say any of those things about star citizen after 11 years![]()
Sounds like a challengeYeah, everyone can slap a working train in a multi game in a few days work.
Ah you mean they replaced all doors, ladders and stairs, NPCs, collision detection, barman AI (I'm sure there's one somewhere in Starfield), item handling, (and I could continue for a while here) with loading screens ?For sure, if you replace all technical challenges by loading screens, every one can slap what you want in Unity or UE, that's what Bethesda has done.
Did you really criticize the NPC AI of a finished, working game ? Do you really want us to post examples of that absolutely incredible AI in Star Citizen ? Or maybe T-posing place holder assets is the end game in AI we obviously cannot understand ?The worst is that NPC are less 'alive' and have less interactions with the player than in Skyrim.
