Also, i thought tom cruise was like a level 6 scientologist wizard or whatever. Able to will himself into controlling reality and all that. Willing yourself young would probably be up there with the first thing to use your alien powers on when you're rich and famous.

I must have seen this when I was young because up to the age of about 10, I genuinely thought nuns could fly.
Even now I still expect them to take off without warning.

the forum not bifurcated like that. the forum is everyone thinks they're the winner with the answer and that everyone else is the loser when they differ in what that answer is - because you're not a winner if someone that opposes you is.
But then, thinking you can be a winner on a gaming forum that you have no power to do anything within or impart change to actually converts you into a loser because where a winner "has an answer for every problem" a loser "has an answer to every problem" too...the answers are just impotent, wrong or just ineffectual. And everyone spending time reading the answers of losers is a loser because it's time you'll never get back.
So we're all losers, until fdev does something that makes some of us winners in retrospect. And so the battle rages on. Or maybe it's just a bunch of people bored with nothing more interesting to do at the moment and the whole loser or winner thing doesn't apply.
Are players who spend their time exploring in the game losers even though it's not even a real role? not if they enjoy it. The forum is a game. Some people find it more fun than the game it's about a lot of the time. It's no different.

This "winner" here sounds like they're doing a whole lot of my work for me. Not sure I want to be that kind of winner.

I've picked up more than that on a couple of single session flying around 300Ly out from Colonia!

Yeah I plan to check out more around Colonia now mainly brown dwarf systems (Some are actually pretty neat and not many players check them out).
