Been a bit chilly after the blizzard here. it was 4 degrees F the last two mornings when I left the house and negative 2 when I got to the office. Game update/ continued console support check: still running on xbox as of midnight edt!
Wrapped up a mining run and relocated the Witch to Yoru to start working on some rep there for the eng unlock then I think I'll just have the 5k ly trip to do for Prof. Palin and all the bubble engineers will be done. Anyone have a good suggestion for that jaunt? I'm torn between doing a sightseeing trip and just heading off in a random direction.

I had the same quandary of thought wrt palin when I did mine, and opted for the random decision, as I figured I'd find some new stuff if lucky, sorry stuphz!
So, I adopted a good mariner mindset, and chose "leftish and down a bit" as a direction from the bubble. After about 1kLy I was finding all sorts of new stuphz, but was using a 50Ly or more asp explorer, so was going for speed. Did it over two evenings with plenty of scanning, so much less arduous than I expected, and I'm not much of an explorer.
I had a bit of an explore ages ago (before all the mini-game shenanigans got introduced) and found it oddly quite theraputic. This was all done in a DBX as I detest (can't explain why) the AspX.
These days I'm a bit too busy building castles in Valheim to be bothered even firing up the game.
