State of the Game

By "fun events" do you mean fishbowls full of keys?
oddly, out of all the events we've been to...none have involved bowls of keys.

I get the feeling that practice is either extinct or entirely misrepresented. It doesn't happen in real events (the whole leaving alone with a partner).

Overreaction is the new subtlety.

Urban legend realm then?
yea... that would just be not only dangerous (in a large enough party where you'd think that would happen) ...but the logistics of everyone getting to their proper home later would be annoying... plus it's just kinda not the point when you goto a party like that. you go to watch. the whole key thing defeats the purpose. it just doesn't make sense. I think it might have happened here and there but it's mostly a hollywood type fabrication.

Hollywood would NEVER lie like that. It would be shameful.

No, he didn't... read what he wrote again... the logic stool has been yours all along...

Logic is the explorer's imagination, isn't it?
when you use "by that logic" you're making a logical statement you believe is based on the logic of another statement. It's that interpretation that was what was being responded to and refuted by me as not making any sense. Because the idea that eddb catalogs named systems at a higher total % than all systems in general and being usable as a resource for them ...has absolutely nothing to do with then finding raxxla in there.

Yes it does.

Well, if Raxxla was found but not named Raxxla how would anyone know it was Raxxla?
how indeed.. but the idea that eddb would have it because they have most of the named systems doesn't have any connection to raxxla. there is no evidence that raxxla is named ...and plenty of evidence that nothing identifying anything that has been checked out is raxxla (and eddb would contain just things that have been checked out).

if raxxla is in the game, it would not be discoverable from any kind of meta data gleamed from the sources that people have been trying to utilize for years. it's not in the data there. so it's useless for the search for raxxla. about as useless as searching for raxxla in general is.

except raxxla as a named system or planet doesn't exist at all...
Where has that been established? I admit I'm probably ignorant. I only just started my second year of Elite Dangerous a few weeks back.
so what would make raxxla be within eddb if eddb is more complete on named systems? which has already been established, raxxla is not.
I'll accept this argument once my lawyers have told me that THEY understand it... ;)
