Warmed up the bones a bit. It's probably the hottest planet I've landed on so far. Although I'm not specifically looking for them. Star G2Vab (like our Sun), a year on the planet is 1.1 days (tidal locking), temperature 1265K-2471K

After several literal hours buzzing around the planet, this was the best shot I could get. Bacterial pool in the foreground with an active geyser about 100m away. Shot taken at the equator, so there was no way the sun was ever going to align any more aesthetically. Bit of a shame, but there it is. Still the only time in my entire ED history that I've encountered a combination of biology and geology on the same planet, so I hope this is interesting for it's rarity as much as its composition
