CMDR The Bell Tolls
I went through my screenshot folder and picked my favorites to post! These have been collected over the past year or so.
Location: Byoomi AG-A C3-1864
Beautiful planet with a lovely atmosphere and gorgeous rings. Some matching plant-life too!
Location: Byoomi MS-W C4-4596
An interesting red and white planet with a rather menacing bloody moon close by!
Location: Eoch Pruae MI-T E3-4406
One of my most beautiful ringed Water Worlds I've ever found. I don't know what it was about this one, maybe the way the light was hitting it from the local star.
And here I am in the ring! You can spot my Anaconda among the asteroids.
Location: HR 3230
What I've described as "the most alien enviroment" I've ever come across in Elite. The super close moon in the background, the yellow mountain on the horizon, the odd brain-trees on dust rock, and a bit of magma and steam vents to boot.
Location: Myriesly KN-H B36-113
I really loved the atmosphere on this one. A sickly green turns to a toxic brown, overlooking an ashen surface.
Location: Schee Flyi IO-P D6-7767
I couldn't belive the atmosphere on this one, that purple and pink is absolutely gorgeous. And such a large sunrise (or sunset?) in the background!
Location: Schee Flyi KG-Y C16-4550
Not a whole lot to say, I was just surprised at how green this planet was. Just mountains and fields of limey, mossy green.
