Supercruise Assist module too much for such a simple functionality

.... so it was about slot use after all, as suspected.
Well, yes but not 100% the way you thought. From the SCA module i just use this tiny bit (the switch "When jump to system is complete, set engine throttle to 0%"). Similar switches like "silent running" already exist built-in to every ship, without the need for an additional module. I find it too much for such a simple switch, to be forced to add the SCA module and waste a whole slot. I don't propose merging the SCA's capabilities into every ship, just decouple the "When jump to system is complete, set engine throttle to 0%" switch and add it (the switch) to all ships. As i said in a previous post, in reality this would be a single line of code in a ship's built-in computer, there should be no need for a whole module just for that... :)

The docking computer demands too much attention. When I'm doing exobiology, I need to turn it off because I prefer to land manually on the surface. The first landing doesn't go as expected because, as you can guess, I often forget to turn it off.

When I drop to a station, it should be turned on. It often happens that I approach the station, request docking, throttle down, and go to make a cup of tea, only to find the ship still in the same place because I forgot to turn on the docking computer.

The DC is a pain in the back, so I've stopped using it. The only place I have ADC is probably on my T9 for tritium services.

Yup, same problem here. It needs an additional switch to "turn of automatic landing on planets" or "turn on only for stations".
Fairly sure* that there is a switch in one of the tabs on the right hand panel that turns off auto land for the ADC.

*As in absolutely positive because that is how mine has been for a year or more and the ship docks at stations, outposts and ground settlements automatically but just hovers above the ground at zero throttle until I land the ship.

Yes, yes there is...

Auto Land, as in on a body.

Auto Dock, as in at a station, carrier. Not sure if this is the correct term for landing at a settlement or if Land is.

Auto Launch, as in a station, settlement, carrier

These can all be turned on/off individually.

Umm, what? You can already do this, you can turn the planetary landing off and still have the normal DC functions running witho problems, you just turn off planetary landing control in the ship options in game! to summarise, you don't need to turn the DC off to turn off landing on planets, it's already an option in game!
