Community Event / Creation The C-Pod: A DIY Command seat (build log)

This is bloody amazing!

I've imagined a design for myself, just gotta find some place that allows use of tools(a diy workshop for rent), just google seems intent on not.helping with these, as the only "relevant' results it displays are ads for sex rooms.

@ Max.Wyght -- Try Googling "makerspace" or "hackerspace", I'll bet your area has one locally and I bet you will have better luck with those search terms. You can also check out MakerSpace.com: http://makerspace.com/

Apologies if this has ben covered elsewhere in the thread (or any other thread for that matter) but how is ROCCAT Power-Grid running on iPad?? I can only get hold/find iPhone version of it.... :-/

Whilst it does say to run on smartphone it is also compatible with ipad etc. There is also an Android version. Info on ROCCAT web site.

Maybe I'm being thick but it doesn't appear in the AppStore (for iPad) and I've been on their site which just redirects to the AppStore so I'm not sure how to get it 'on to' the iPad...?

When you search on the ipad, there is a set of drop downs at the top of the screen. Top Left is one that says iPad only. Change it to iPhone, and you will see it. Then when you run it, you can double-size it. :) Hope that helps.

Pack it all up and ship it to Michigan, I'll finish it for you, for a nominal fee of one custom made awesome sauce computer game chair.

I'll be taking a week off work soon to finish the main build. Work and life has been very busy of late and I need to take a long run at it. Once the woodworking is done, the finishing will be a lot easier to manage.
