OMG Those shots are awesome! Can't wait for this mod to be finished!!!

It is an old model of cruiser. It yet coming to do.
Possibly later possibility of use large ships will appear in modifications to FFEd3d
There are a couple of hacked save game that will let you fly the cruiser and bulk carrier. you can get at hooper's site http://www.hooplatec.com/encounters/utility.htm
look for the "ffeship zip" ship collection near the bottom.

Just thinking about it - the Cruisers are quite Battlestar Galactica-ish just without the outriggers.
If they can make usable Bulk Carrier or one of same Cruisers - the time, when "BSG-Mod" starts to be real, coming soon If code will fully converted from asm to C - other modmakers will try to make some different game from FFE.P.S.: Чёрт, похоже меня не только англоговорящие не поймут, но и русские..

Nice ship, how much would one of them cost in game - I want one ?
Have to ask, what's planned for the next version of the mod ? Are there any fixes planned to render the planets properly from orbit ( fixing the bug with some part's of planetary surface rendering in places and not others ) ?

Can anyone point me in the direction of the Ship updates? I still can't register on the Russian site to trawl throught the posts. and when I have found one it's not let me download it, I assume it's because I cant register,

With regard to downloading the ships, you have to navigate to the part of the forum thread where the download is without using an translator (such as Google, Babelfish etc.) and you'll find you can download it from there.
What I do is have another window open running the translator so I know where I'm going. I haven't registered at the forum but I can download all the new ships and scenery this way

Sound like you are still using Google translator.(don't try to download anything in the translator)
