It just occurred: Drew has twice used the word 'ahem' in talking about the Rift ('the core of the ...ahem... problem' and 'the truth is ...ahem... out there'). Is there a system called 'ahem'? If it's in the bubble then perhaps there's something on a local Galnet feed? Or is it part of a sector name? I'm not in-game atm to check but it might be a clue...
There are 3 that start with Ahem all in or around the bubble. I'm taking part in a CG with my account in the bubble - I'll do one more delivery for that and check them out this afternoon UTC.
He also repped two or three different posts from last year where I first posted the Formidine Rift map. I took that as a subtle hint that we were pretty much in the ball park of where he set it.
So its still speculative but Drew hasn't said anything contrary to where we all guess the Rift to be at this point, and if we were way off I'd be surprised if he hadn't corrected us by now (at least with another clue to set us straight)

Has anyone summarised all of Drew's 'hints' yet? Such as the ones about it being in game, no Horizons necessary (although Engineers will make it 'easier' to find apparently), and it all depends on 'who' goes looking. The other hints that come to mind are the ones about wanderlust and patience needed to find whatever it is we're looking for... though I'm still not 100% on what 'it' is

My current hunch is that whatever we are looking for is located in the rift itself, and it's in a location that is only accessible by a ship with a certain jump range. Reasoning for this is that the systems past the rift are very accessible by going the long way around - so aren't exactly hard to reach.
There was a few comments in another thread that I can't find now about a named system in the area where we think the rift is, but it was 60ly jump from any other system. I don't know if this was a real lead or not, but names are certainly something that will help us, based on Drews hint about this being in the game from the start. I'm current docked at Davies High in Reorte in my newly purchased Asp. I might fuel up and start heading towards the galactic arm to see what I can see.

This is indeed correct though the group (Children of Raxxla) is genuinely in game as minor faction. Sorry, I hadn't spotted that comment about the logo. Kahina's story was halted last year due to 'issues' with the way Galnet was being edited and sequenced. Those have since been resolved and thus the story continues. Clues as to the Rift itself are in-game and in-book, along with all the other ED storylines. There might be hints on social media/forum/reddit etc, but you should focus resources on Galnet, In game and In book as 'canon' to the story. If it hasn't happened there, I would say it hasn't happened. Fan-fiction, regardless of quality, is not canon, and that includes my own stories prior to ED.
My website articles should be treated as 'summaries' of the canon for convenience, there are no direct 'clues' continued therein. These articles were written to make us much background lore available as possible within the restrictions of my NDA. Thus any info there is already available somewhere else - hopefully I've just made it more accessible.

Yes, the original post hosting the Formidine Rift map on that thread got repped as far as I can remember, and that thread is the thread he commented on too.
If I recall correctly, the first Rift-related post of mine he specifically repped last year was one from the original Formidine Rift thread (post #19 on that thread).

I haven't compiled them yet, but was planning to. If you don't mind, I might add your summary to the first page. I messed around and didn't post a reserve post, so I'm afraid I may have to compile some of it off forum. I will add everything I can to the first post before I resort to that.

Go for the longest jump range you can get your hands on. After a few hundred jumps trust me, you will be cursing any excess bling bling you brought along. IIRC (and I may not) I think she was flying a cobra, but really you want more range than that. The Diamondback is the next best thing to an asp, and cheap if you have a...hard landing.

All good - yes, I posted the above to help out... I think I captured the main ones (in addition to what you already summarised)
Looking over some of the hints, I got back to the Seven Veils. We already brought the connection with Kahina and the dance, but a Veil is used as well to cover something, separate private from public... Could be also read that whatever we are looking for is hidden behind a Veil. But what can be described as a Veil in GalMap? As far as I have seen, only nebulas and dark regions would apply, but there are none in the rift or behind it. Maybe a field of dwarf stars? Any other ideas?
When you are inside (what we think is) the rift itself is like a maze. Dead ends where you can't jump any further and have to back tracking. Trying to aim in any direction is a pain. The route planer will only do 6-7 jumps if you are lucky. So the higher jump range gives you more options. It is fun I must admit, if not a little frustrating at times.

I previously tried it in a 24ly Cobra. Got as far as here before having to self-destruct after using up all my Jumponium and unable to reach a way out. Would probably have been possible to get to the other side if I'd have gone over the bridge though.
