This is a flawed poll. I saw the topic:
I replied yes as I have a high end graphic pc. So I thought he was asking what type of graphic card are you currently running.
The question he meant to ask is:
Should the game only cater to High end graphic rigs?
Then the answer is no.
Wording is everything, and I answered before reading any posts so as not to be influenced and answered the question asked.
Honestly this is a 2014 game, and if you had what was a low end pc built 5 years ago with on board intel graphics. I think the best you can hope for is maybe 800x600 graphics (with luck you may get up to 1024x768) with no aa or any eye candy at all.
In any event, it may play it, but don't look for performance, eye candy or turning on any aa at all. Depending on the CPU you may get to play, but if a lot of ships in the area expect it to bog way down as it will be hard pressed to keep up.
I want people to play the game, the more the better, but lets not try to lure people in with a low end Pentium from 5 or more years ago with 1 gig of ram and expect to play the game on anything but the bare minimum settings (if it will even run with just 1 gig of ram).
Frontier will publish the minimum, suggested, and optimal specifications as the game gets nearer to release as all games do. I think the sooner they do so the better so everyone knows what they will need, and if any upgrade may be required to meet the minimum suggested levels. In my book that is the best thing Frontier can do, a minimum required specification list for a pc to run the game. It is the most fair way for people wanting to play the game to know if they can, or if they will need an upgrade and give them plenty of time to decide if they want to or not.
