Yeah. It sucks when you lose something you care about so why do it to yourself on purpose.

I know what you mean, but you do get a lot of friendship and love from your pets.
Cats usually live longer than dogs on average and knowing that one day you will loose them is part of the deal when you decide to have a pet.

Yes and even if we try to be prepared for loss, when it happens we are destroyed, desperate and devastated for months, years and even often for the life.

What if your dog brings the ball back only because it thinks you like throwing it?

If a poison is after its expiry date, is it more poisonous or less poisonous?

Which letter is silent in the word "Scent"? The S or the C?

When you're cleaning something, you're just making something else dirty.
