Patently false.
Mobius is just a private group, or actually three separate private groups nowadays due to group size limit, maintained by a few dedicated individuals.

Yep, the Mobius PGs do indeed provide Open PvE... as does the Open mode on the main menu
"Open PvE" is a misnomer. What is often meant by those promoting it is "PvE-Only" or "No-PvP".
Why are you lashing out at Han Zulu?
Then you get on a tirade on getting killed in an Anarchy system, expecting what from players? it was your choice to play in Open, it was your choice to see what happened, it was your choice to use the BLOCK option, YOUR choices, choices that Han Zulu supports for everyone to have, as well as the option to choose Solo or private group mode.
And please elaborate how you can have an honorable ganker? as that in itself is contradiction.
What it sounds like, is that you encountered a player that supports the choice of meaningful PvP, that is something completely different compared to the ganking play style.
Don't misquote me, thanks. I was killed 14 times yesterday at the CG, its the pointlessness of it all. I have enough money for 2500 rebuys at 6 million a pop but its not the money, whats the point of killing me 14 times, I have no idea what set them off. (I'm back there today to prove a point), I really want to see how many times the Gank.
I'm starting to get the gist of the Gwanker community, its a club, a group with "jack the ripper" morals and a secret handshake, if you don't know what the handshake is, "bang bang you're dead", great song that.
The Gwankers regard PvP as THEIR open PRIVATE domain and woe betide anyone who transgresses without the secret handshake. I agree with the OP who posted earlier hinting at a Kamikaze kill switch, F-Dev give me the option of turning my ship into a giant FSD enhanced frag bomb that kills anything in a 4km radius, heck if I'm going to get needlessly killed I'd like to go out with a bang.

What people are telling you is that in your post/rant, you were replying to Han Zulu, someone who DOES NOT kill other players, and is strongly against "ganking".
Which kinda makes your post a bit amusing.
Also, "ganker" == someone who kills people much less experienced or much less-well equipped than them in order to get "easy" kills. A "griefer" is someone who does so repeatedly to the same target.
"PvP"'er is someone who enjoys PvP. Gankers are a (deplorable) subset of PvPers; there's no such thing as an honourable ganker. But you can certainly find honourable PvPers who like to teach noobs and generally measure themselves against others of equal or better skill/equipment in order to progress their own skills.

Private? Anyone can join just send an email. Only abide by the rules not to gank others. It is an open PvE with like minded players.
Whats the problem with group size? All servers have their limits. If more are needed then I'm sure ED and mobius members will add more as its been one of the most successful outcomes of Elite Dangerous.
Its been the best solution to reduce ganking & unwanted PvP. Adding a 'spice' I can just see the gankers planning their ambush spots at sites where the spices are

There's no secret handshake. That's only in your head.
You could try to talk and ask for help, try to figure out what you are doing wrong. ED is very complex, especially PvP mechanics. The things you will never find out from the solo/pg crowd as they have no idea.
I usually don't do CGs, but I was there last night. We fought many fights ,I got killed one time and that was because I chose to stay until the end. Getting away is easy, almost too easy if you know what you are doing.
Or you can just keep on blocking, join mobius and think that ships in this game can be over engineered.

If you expected to be killed 14 times, then I would say you've had your money's worth.
Your kill switch idea seems OK, but when you actually think about it would be really silly. To use your witty and original phrase all a "gwanker" need do is to use aforementioned switch in a highly populated area and then get a mate to ice them, causing even more havoc.
Unexpected consequences, Dunno. Unexpected consequences.
