I believe stations technically have hitpoints and modules, but I can't find out whether they have FSD. I suppose it doesn't matter. If I could pilot a station the result would be pretty much

Ocellus stations can be fitted with thrusters and FDS, according to lore. I think you can see them in game, on new incomplete stations.

"Giant drives can be attached to move them from system to system when required, albeit much more slowly than even the largest cargo ships. Only a few of them have been so equipped..."

In my mind those would be sublight drives, not FSD's...but I suppose that could be open to interpretation.

above that, in the first paragraph of overview, its does call it a hyperdrive, not a FSD or sublight...

"It can be fitted with engines and a hyperdrive to be easily moved where needed "

That is what FC use.

?? here its says they have FSDs not hyperdrives...

Like the Farragut Battle Cruiser and Majestic Class Interdictor, the Drake-Class Carrier is equipped with a Capital Ship-class Frame Shift Drive, allowing it to jump between star systems

anyways, i think it stands to reason that there is maybe a 2%? chance that raxxla is a space station of some type with a drive of some kind, and there by could be moving betweeen the outter edges of some systems.... just somthing to keep in mind for those who believe it is a station

Edit: doesnt the original story talk about a portal that Ben Ryder built to get to raxxla? i swear that story mentions his potral having a drive of some kind... maybe thats what we should be looking for too?

Admittedly i havent read through all source material. I've only completed the dark wheel & and here the wheel. Im yet to find a copy of tales from the frontier. I have reclamation, premonition and out of the darkness. Also i plan on getting legacy and mostly harmless (this will be the second book of this title i will have read by that time)

From as far as i have found, no mention of Ben Ryder. Jason was Alex's father and Alex was the father of Oberon and Neptune. I know i havent all of the lineage of course Liz Ryder somehow fits into this but i have yet to get to that as well. Where does Ben Ryder come from (what book i mean)?

OK, heres a new one.....

Has anyone ever tried to visit "Zeta Universe Co." in Tionisla system?

I cant seem to visit it, lmfao.... I drop from SC and some non-sense happens... lmfaao..... I cant fidn a reason for it...

PLEASE someone else go there and see what is going on, lmao

There is no real defined difference between a hyperdrive and a FDS. The most correct is probably to describe the FDS as a specific type of hyperdrive, that has super cruise capability.

It's a bit like hyperspace and witchspace. It's really the same thing. 🤷‍♂️

i think its premonition if i remember correctly, and Ben was Jasons Father? i think... if i remember correctly.. or Jasons grandfather...
Ben was Jason's father. There is nothing in The Dark Wheel that connects him to Raxxla. There are a lot of fan fiction and Oolite stories that puts different spinns on the story, but those aren't of much value. FD have probably not even read them.

The best real description of Raxxla is what Rafe Zetter tells Alex about it: 'Your father was chasing the mythical plant Raxxla. Does it exist, or does it not? If it does, then on Raxxla there's an alien construct that's a gateway to other Universes, and all that's in those Universes in the way of bounty, and treasures, and aliens, and life… '

Admittedly we have already found a bunch of these, in the form of Guardian sites. I still hope Raxxla is unique in ED.
